Right. This is far from the first time Trump has run a scam like this, and the Trump University fiasco was exactly as low and cheap and scummy as this nonsense.
Early this morning, the Donald posted this on Twitter:
So, er, what? Yes, that is factual, but what is he saying? He doesn’t say" I was wrong, I’m sorry, I misinterpreted". He seems to be acting like he is clearing up OUR confusion. Like he has been misquoted or something. Never mind all the detail he had in his speeches yesterday about watching pallets of cash being wheeled off, about the tape being provided by Iranian TV specifically to embarrass Obama.
I guess we just all misunderstood poor little Donald.

I happened upon this tweet by chance, when I was searching for someone else with the same name, and I thought it was kind of funny given what we were talking about regarding turning off repeat donations:

I like how it contains the inverse of a minced oath:
That is, they modified the pronunciation of the inoffensive word (“I-O-Us”) to make it rhyme with the offensive one (“douche”) instead of mangling the offensive word into something facially inoffensive but suggestive.
Oh, and a Republican consultant called Trump a “loud-mouthed dick” on CNN. This election is just a goldmine of linguistic niceties.
The funny thing is that the lack of being able to cancel could be a purposeful scam, or just plain incompetence, or arrogance in thinking no one would ever want to cancel payments, and any of those explanations would make sense from the Trump campaign.
I can’t express how much I’m enjoying this election year so far. Totally makes up for Bush-Kerry. What a snooze-fest that was.

I’m actually feeling a bit irritated because there haven’t been any reports today of any new Trump f-ups. Come on, Donald, give me something new to laugh at.
i’m enjoying the spectacle as well… but only because it doesn’t look like he can actually WIN now. If the polls were reversed I would be in sack cloth gashing my face…
