Donald Trump's 2016 General Election Campaign

I used to cut them some slack, thinking most were just being misled. But as the Angry Cheeto upped the ante with inasanity following lunacy, and they continued to follow him, it became apparent to me that the vast majority have some kind of pathology. They’re nuts.

Don the Con’s expenses for the last month have doubled, even though he hasn’t added any campaign staff or run any tv ads.

Half of the money went to a web-design firm that’s connected to Trump’s real estate company. News day notes that several of Donald’s campaign staff are “mysteriously well-paid”.

They also spent half a mil renting planes from Donald’s own air company.

Ph, and they’re still paying Cory Lewandowski the same salary he was getting when he was officially on staff - $20k a month. I don’t watch CNN. Do they ever mention that Lewandowski is still on Trump’s payroll?

Also, that poor writer, Meredith McIver, who took the fall for Melania’s plagarism? She got paid, too - a grand total of $356.01. I hope it was worth it for her.

Yes, they frequently introduce him with the note that he is still receiving “severance pay” from the Trump campaign.

One, maybe. We’re talking “all of them.”

Right. Maybe some would never say out loud that they’d vote for a Democrat, but will do so in the privacy of a voting booth.

Since the conventions? What universe do you live in?
Bush and the other Republicans had the problem of needing to appeal to the racist Republican base. Hillary doesn’t have to. Bush’s reasonable immigration policy didn’t help. In the general, it would. And Clinton has a lot more ammunition to work with.

The new Trump? You mean the Stephen “Goebbels” Bannon Trump? Appealing even more to the fever swamps of the right? That will go over real well.
Not to mention, Clinton has the infrastructure and the data. Trump doesn’t even believe in data. I used to work in data and Trump is a moron.

Feel free. Maybe we can make Don the Con and Trumptanic go viral.

Trumptanic is good but Don the Con is brilliant. It just rolls off the tongue. I’m going to steal it myself, first opportunity.

I saw they actually paid money to a data company that worked for Cruz. However one of his hedge fund backers is an investor in it, so who knows if Trump will listen to their advice, or if this is just more money laundering.

Given that most of his ground game is RNC owned, if they ever decide to pull out he is really toast. If Priebus had any guts he’d threaten Trump into moderation.

Obama’s already dropped 1 Gallup point since yesterday.

Dude finally capitalizes, punctuates and uses a noun and verb, and then he gets banned.

ETA: :smack::(:smack:

Wow, a complete sentence from john L, with subject, verb, capitalisation and period! The whole shebang!

Esteemed focus group moderator/genteel GOP establishment hatchet-man Frank Luntz chats with hand-picked ordinary Republicans who used to support Trump. http://www.rawstory.com/2016/08/another-frank-luntz-gop-focus-group-spells-disaster-for-donald-trump/

The very best part is the incredulous tone of voice as they discuss Don the Con’s antics. They want more policy! From Trump. Who has never shown any sort of policy depth on any topic whatsoever including running a casino.

And even an emoticon! I am agog.

Washington Post reporter can’t get anybody to confirm that Trump donated anything in Louisiana.

This is just speculation, and it’s on Bipartisanreport and is based on a months old Gawker article, so take it with a grain of salt, but this article speculates, with some amount of evidence, that Trump is on some kind of speed. It would confirm something that I’ve been thinking for a while now; that he’s either drunk or on speed or cocaine.

He’s not a Washington Post reporter, he’s Washington Times.

Facebook.

Strikes me as less than a legit cite.

If he has ADHD, as speculated in this HuffPo article, speed would actually help him focus.

He says he confirmed with the Trump charity and the Parish government. And his Twitter page says he’s a Post reporter.

David Fahrenthold is def a WaPo reporter. Here’s his bio page there:

He’s been doing other stories about Trump’s “charity” activities.
Here’s a link to the tweet in question -
