Ah, but here’s where your arguments runs smack dab into the Modern Republicans;
Actual Facts do not matter. They are inconsequential. For the modern Republican, facts are completely, utterly irrelevant to any political discussion. The only question will be: “Is Trump a part of our team? Is he running with (R) next to his name? Then we will support him, no matter what. Period. Full stop.”
And confronted with the facts, Trump will simply claim that he really has Eleventy billion trillion dollars in cash and all the gold in the world. And his fans will love it.
An informative articleabout racists and anti-semites dogpiling on Jews online using (((echoes))). Much of it stems from Trump supporters.

According to Segal and other social-justice advocates who keep tabs on racist groups and hate speech, the jingoism of Trump’s presidential campaign has fueled this sort of harassment. Trump’s xenophobic and Islamophobic rhetoric and policy proposals have resonated with the rebellious, belligerent, flag-waving alt-right
“They’ve been on a tear,” Heidi Beirich of the Southern Poverty Law Center said in a phone call. “You can’t publish something about Trump right now and have any inclination of being Jewish without being trolled to hell.”

It doesn’t sound remotely as bad as when President Obama declared that he believes his own bullshit
I guess, the suprising part here is not that President Obama expects liberals and democrats (who are, admittedly, quite stupid) to believe his bullshit, but the realization that he, himself, believes his bullshit.
Worry not, folks, only 232 days until this okey-doke flushed down the commode of history…
Uh, I think you made a mistake here, friend, and accidentally quoted my post, as opposed to the one above it, where many of the “folks”, such as modern republicans, were insulted. Surely, you’d agree that post wasn’t conductive to a debate? Just saying…
Anyway, this thread is, IIRC, about Trump and not Obama? I believe we have an “Obama and Divisiveness” discussion currently running, which may be a better home for this topic…
I see no insult in the post at all. Of course, I was able to read the article and your next post asking about the content of the links you thanked the poster for indicates this may be problematic for you to do at this time for some reason.
See, the article doesn’t say that all trump supporters are racists but that those that are, are causing more problems than usual. Since we’ve had racist groups openly endorse Trump this shouldn’t be any kind of shocker. It does leave a lot to debate though.
If it bothers republicans to be associated in this way with racists, I don’t know what to tell you. You lie down with dogs, you get fleas. That’s a cross they’ll have to bear. This is America after all. You can’t control who supports your candidate. The best you can do is ask yourself why your message resonates with racists( because believe me, others sure are going to ask themselves that fair or not ). That would be an excellent discussion. The same cannot be said about “…democrats (who are, admittedly, quite stupid) …”
