The TPM article was confusing, but I thought OAN had actually released a new poll today with the same results as the May poll.

With the exact same results as the May 10 poll?
Unsurprisingly, there already was a legal argument:
I’ve seen some people argue that State laws governing how delegates are bound is not holding because it infringes free speech and some cite legal cases where the party’s own rules were the final word. Therefore none of the delegates are legally required to vote any specific way even on the first vote. Eg http://www.nationalreview.com/article/436428/republican-convention-delegates-not-bound-donald-trump
The problem is that the Republican’s own convention rules explicitly say the delegates do indeed have to vote according to State law or State party rules. So they’d have to kill or change Rule 16.
Ann Coulter called his Orlando speech “Churchillian” and nobody batted an eyelash, that’s how crazy this election is. She’s been out-crazied!
Oh, they’re good. They’re very good. They nailed it in May, and just to prove how accurate they are, they got the same result again!
That’s hilarious!
“The GOP are revolting!”
“Yeah, they stink on ice.”
Sorry.
Maybe she means the “Church chill”, that cold feeling of dread that Jesus will climb down off that thing and beat the crap out of you.
Maybe she meant Ward Churchill.
Church shill.
If they want to bad enough, they will just make something up, pass it, and call it kosher. Then they can call Romney and tell him the good news. What’s Trump going to do, sue them? Probably. How long will that take, given the number of conflicting laws in play here? In betweentime, Romney becomes the Official Nominee of the Republican Party.
Only thing they have to do is guess, from five months out, which course of action would be least disastrous. If it were me, I’d bet dumping Il Douche is the smarter move, rattlesnake rather than cobra.
I would say that the Republican Party has a Trump problem. But an even bigger problem is that, no matter what they do, a lot of voters are still angry at both parties, and they will vote for their angry white hope in November. And they will froth at the mouth if the republicans strip him of his nomination.
p.s. Yes, I posted three Washington Post articles that are basically drowning Trump in negative attention. There are, in fact, many more. Keep trying to strong arm editors, Donald. Please.
Apparently it is real, at least as reported via HuffPo. Result allowing for “other” is Clinton +5, no “other” allowed was that Clinton only +2. An RV poll. So pretty much the same as the CBS RV poll.
Oh it was Clinton +2 allowing for “other” in May. So a drop of 3.
Pretty sad that getting excited over that is where he is at right now.
Pfff…you mean 10X as narcissistic.
Now that’s just not fair of you, JohnT; she carefully qualified that remark.
Coulter described his speech as “Churchillian, only better.”
Neither Nader nor Sanders compares to Trump for narcissism.
Maybe she meant “like a speech Churchill would have given on one of his many falling-down-drunk days.”
The problem is that “they” are actual ~2500 random dudes. Some are “party officials” but there’s no reason to assume a majority will think flouting the primary process is a good idea or that “the establishment knows best”.
I apologize, I didn’t want people to think I was making shit up. But that’s not possible in 2016, right?
Really, though, I think she meant that he flung spittle around like a bulldog as he was speaking.
Narcissus doesn’t compares to Trump for narcissism.
