Is it me, or is Trump ditching his sexy blond hair color for a more statesmanlike white?
It’s winter on his hair’s home planet. That’s it’s seasonal coat.
Yeah, but how much coverage, memory, and interest will it get generally compared to his earlier, uh, work? It’s kind of a catch-22, now that I think about it.
Trump’s campaign currently sits at $1.3 million in assets, $45.7 million in debts.
If Trump holds true to form, he will personally enrich himself, and then stiff the creditors at the end of the run. If I were a supplier for hall rental, convention supplies, signs, printing, advertising, media, consulting etc. etc… I would consider him a VERY bad credit risk, and demand payment in advance for any product or service. I would not extend his campaign ANY credit whatsoever. He has a track record of putting small companies out of business by not paying his debts in full.
Very.
Bad.
Risk.
He’ll be the best Bad Risk ever! The Risk will be YUUUUGE!
It was equally as full of shit as usual, though.
If he doesn’t show up with his underwear on his head, he exceeds expectations and we get to hear how we’re going to see a new Trump. Let’s see how he does when he goes back to speaking without a script.
You should get top men working on that.
Uh oh.
It’s possible The Media has decided “gee, we’ve been so mean to him for a couple weeks now, I guess we should start talking about how cool he is.”
His makeup has lightened too. I guess the Cheeto Jesus tag got to him (or Ivanka).
Nah, the horse race has to be maintained, but I do think that all the talk about how his campaign is not getting money is a blatant demand to Trump by the media to get the presidential money gravy train going soon (as in paid advertisements, there are no more freebies) or else.
Of course one can still notice how dismal the attempt at polishing the turd is when they said that he got good grades, to do that the reporters had to ignore the huuuuuge mendacity and pathological lies coming from Trump.

The Trump scampaign joins the ranks of penis enhancers and Nigerian princelings:
LOL! Nice capsule summary there.
I would worry about that in a typical race where a Democrat was making a consistent bead on a three or four point win in the popular vote, translating to 300+ electoral votes. That’s sort of a boring outcome, so the temptation is clearly there to try to spin it into a tight horse race.
But I heard a pundit’s observation the other day that I think is fitting in this election: a narrative about how Drumpf is causing the GOP to immolate, and maybe even put its House majority in jeopardy, is a pretty juicy story–and more plausible than spinning it into a neck-and-neck race.
For Trump’s VP pick, I"m gonna suggest this guy.
He’s perfect. He longs for a time of “Ozzie and Harriet, Leave it to Beaver time when there were no break-ins; no violent crime; no mass immigration.”
What a great time it was. No break ins ever. No violent crime in the entire country.
Mr. Tyler has been inspired by Mr. Trump.
Isn’t it great that Trump has “loosed up the spectrum of political discourse” so that overt racists now feel more comfortable expressing themselves?
TYLER FOR TRUMP VP!
Here is the best twitter essay on any topic that I have ever read. (Then again, the number of twitter essays I’ve read is probably in the low double digits.) Still, it’s good. First tweet:

So a lot of people don’t have much experience with real estate developers. Donald Trump is basically a walking cliche. I’ll explain.

The poster has worked with developers, banks and investors and has seen this movie many, many times. Trump is working from an old playbook, one he is overly familiar with. To me, this sort of analysis, grounded in Trump’s personal experiences, is more insightful than talk of character or psychology. Not that the latter is useless, but this is better.
Trump is a sales guy. As a real estate developer, he’s basically selling himself, and taking advantage of certain irrationalities baked into human nature which are only overcome with effort. I’m talking about the concept of sunk costs. If you don’t know about this concept, you should. Skip the political link and read the wiki and lifehacker links I’ve provided (but have not read).
If you do know about sunk costs, read about Trump at Storify:

ETA: If you want to question or discuss the general notion of sunk costs, please do it elsewhere. (Well worth its own thread.)
Here’s the link to the Twitter thread, in case you were wondering. You’ll have to expand a few times to read all of it.
Looks like he now has $50 million in sunk costs. He has pledged to not repay himself for loans to his campaign. I guess potential donors didn’t want their campaign contributions going directly in Trump’s pocket…
Trump Hotels will now charge the campaign 10,000 per night.
Beds extra.
The plane is 100,000 per hour. Permission to land fees extra.
Trump Water-100/bottle. Chlorine extra.
