Donald Trumps Hillary. Reactions.

There would be celebrating, but I think the vast majority of the feeling would have just been relief that Trump wasn’t elected. Outside of hardcore democrats, I don’t think that many people were particularly enthused about Hillary personally. They felt she had the experience and temperament, but weren’t convinced that she alone could solve all their problems like Trump has made himself out to be.

Heh.

Arkansas, when the Clintons came back home.

Galaxy Quest: Those poor people!

Except the Clintons have settled in New York following Bill leaving office in 2000 (so that Hillary could run for Senate there).

A fun factoid, though, is that the Little Rock airport is officially the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. The current governor, Asa Hutchinson, was one of the House of Representatives impeachment “managers” (aka prosecutors) of Bill during the trial in the Senate. Now, every time he needs to fly into and out of Arkansas, he has to do it through the Clinton National Airport.

I’m not American. I feel like I just watched a fratboy drink from a pitcher of puke on a dare.

On a side note, Kim Kardashian would be an improvement over Trump. She is a legitimately successful businesswoman, and she’s not racist, sexist or rapey, as far as I know.

Ken Bone says, “Don’t panic.”

Hasn’t he said he is going to bring manufacturing back to America? Perhaps he’ll succeed.

By the way, I haven’t seen Trump fail to do or attempt to do anything he says he will do. This includes grabbing women by the pussy. But it can also mean just putting his corporate brand on what’s already policy like “Extreme Vetting”.

Manufacturing never left. What he’s supposedly going to bring back are unskilled manufacturing jobs.

ABC article about his clothing being made overseas. From 2011

As usual, blame someone else. If he really wanted to do it, he could. Raise the price on his cheap crap, if his name is really a draw, he won’t lose sales.

Trump is not bringing jobs back.

Good point on the clarification. I do not believe it matters a whole lot to the voters Try2B Comprehensive was referring to. Anyway it doesn’t matter, I have very little faith the people that bought Trump’s message will ever understand they need to take practical steps to improve their economic outlook. Waiting for somebody to bring back the time they dream of ill end in failure. Beating up on immigrants isn’t going to do it either.

So far, just since Wednesday morning, we already have Trump saying he’s gonna ditch Obama’s climate agenda, and Ryan saying he’ll kill Obamacare and replace Medicare with private insurance.

IOW, they’re saying the same things now that they were before the election.

I’d give my bottom dollar for them to change their tune and prove me wrong on everything. There have been times in my life where I’ve been elated to have been wrong. I dearly wish this were going to be the latest for-instance. If only.
