I’m just a night owl in NYC. But I’m going to bed soon. If she is resting tonight maybe you should get some shut eye too.
Thanks very much, but I am not leaving my wife.

I can’t find the least bit of selfishness in your words. The exact opposite as a matter of fact.
You do not sound selfish, you sound wonderful! Hope things are going ok; please take her to the ER if you even think she needs to go.
You both are so much in my thoughts…
Bill, I see you are in west Georgia. My father was from Chatanooga. Are you near there?

We are about 2 hours away from Tennessee!
Thanks for being here!
Bill
I haven’t been there since I was a child. My mother was from Nashville, and they met attending Vanderbilt. Beautiful country down there.

Sure is! But have you ever been to the Bavarian Alps? (Where I’m from) Or Neuschwanstein?
There are no known adjectives to describe my homeland.
Thanks for staying up with me!
Bill
Thank you, every one.
I’ll post her condition later in the day.
For now, we both think y’all ROCK!
And we thank you for your concern
Bill and Dondra
No, but I’ve been assured it is. I have a friend in Switzerland, somewhere not all that far away from there.
My father told me about his time in that region. He drove a Horst and would hunt deer.
I have to sleep now or I’ll be more incoherent than usual. Tomorrow you can tell me more.
I’m just checking back in again after a couple of English classes, so you have another line or two to read. How’s Dondra doing? Is she sleeping comfortably?
Yes, and thanks for checking in! I’m right next to her and she’s resting quietly.
Thanks very much, Hokkaido Brit!
Quasi
Hopefully you can have a little bit of a snooze, Quasi and let Bob take over in the interim.
All the best to Dondra. It seems to me that the only thing you two would ever argue over is who is the luckiest: Dondra for having you; or you for having Dondra…
Is Bob an in-house adjudicator as well as the family protector and chief beer taster?
Morning- checking in. Hope Dondra had a restful night and that you got some rest too!
I am so glad to hear that Dondra got some rest. I hope you can too, Quasi. I’m sorry the two of you had a rough night. {{{Bill & Dondra}}}
I hope you got some rest too - you need to keep up your own strength and I know from personal experience how hard it is to concentrate when I’m sleep-deprived.
Did the medicos give up on trying to figure out WHY this damn condition (the pulmonary hypertension) developed? I know at one point you said they were trying to figure it out and supposedly the cardiac cath was to help with that, but then it seemed they were not pursuing things any more.
Sorry, everyone, but for some reason the last 5 posts went into the trash folder and I am just now seeing them. The only thing we know about the pulmonary hypertension is that one of the chambers of the heart is involved and that it affects any of the vessels that carry blood to the lungs and that there is no cure.
Since we’ve been home, I signed us up for a PH Help Website, and I am getting some information from them, but haven’t been able to be on there much due to Dondra’s situation.
“Bob” isn’t much help in the adjudication department, I’m afraid, and luckily there’s very rarely any need for him to be. He is just a good buddy when I need one and agrees with me on just about everything.
As I write, D’s (still can’t bold names - what’s wrong with this thing???) still sleeping, although she’s been up nibbling out of the fritch already (which I take as a good sign since she’s eaten hardly anything since we’ve been home).
So so far, so good.
Thanks, guys and sorry for the late response.
Q
Hi Bill,
When you get a chance (and I understand how little time you must have), tell me more about the Bavarian Alps. Just looking at the pictures of the region online explains what makes my Swiss friend so happy to live there.

I’m asthmatic. After a flu, my lungs remain shot for a few weeks. And the thing is, I can be relatively fine all day. It’s always when I go to lie down that I have problems.
I’m going to chime in that ‘at night’ is when I’d expect to have problems too.
Stay strong, both of you.
Thanks, E and all other friends, she told me a lthis morning she’s feeling better today, and that is something I’ve been waiting to hear since I got her home.
Off-topic, but my bolding ability works on some threads and not on others. Anyone have this happenm?
Dondra sends her thanks and her love to all of you guys and I do too.
Thanks very much!
