Don't carry a psycho cat when you're nekkid in the MMP

Me either.

Canes win! Canes win! Canes win!

Okay, are those two things related?
Jesus, what a life.

They’re not. I just felt like commenting on them.

We had some lovely, lovely rain overnight - a nice gentle shower that lasted several hours. Then today is supposed to be lovely and sunny and breezy - perfect for hanging out laundry - yay!

I have crab duty today. So far, no one is going out, but sunrise isn’t for another hour, so that might explain it. **FCD **is going on a ride with his HOG chapter. I’ve got to wash some clothes, and maybe I’ll do something with the small flower bed around the mailbox - it’s all weeds, so I’ll move something floral down there. That and some tidying should fill my day.

So, Happy Saturday!!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 65 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 70 for the day. Time to open windows in da cave! Tonight’s low is supposed to be 49! BRRR! Durin’ the week it will warm back up however to lows in the low 60s and highs in the low 80s. Should be a good week to keep da cave windows open. YAY!

Today’s plans include some yahd irk. Mowage needs to occur at da cave and OYKW’s place. Fortunately the weather is perfect for doin’ such.

Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, well, the day awaits!

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

No crabbers so far. Time to start some laundrying.

Only one crabber in my region going out so far, and I got him last weekend, so he’s exempt. Another hour to go before I decide who gets double-checked - I’m pretty sure I know who I’ll visit.

About 60 linear feet of shorts and t-shirts are out on the lines. Naturally, the sun has disappeared and it looks like it wants to rain, despite what the weather radar shows. Alas, it’s so hard being me…

That’s a relief.

Happy Saturday!

Looks icky outside, grey, rainy and muggy.
It’s 64 degrees with a high of 68 today.

All y’all are cracking me up.

No** Rosie** they haven’t tried to do that - yet.
Swampy what good is virtue anyway? It just gets in the way of having fun.

It’s been a very slow irk week and so all I have planned for this weekend is irk.
I need to get up, brush my teeth and get something to eat. Or get something to eat and then brush my teeth.

And just cause I know y’all couldn’t live without knowing this, I have a big ol’ zit on my chin and it hurts.

Zits suck. I thought I’d stop getting them later in life, but no. The worst was when I had a gigantic, very visible, infected zit on my face, and my boss kept commenting on it! Arrgh. Most annoying thing ever.

I need to work on a whole bunch of stuff today.

Up and caffeinated. Working late shift again tonight.

Dang, Midget, your boss sounds like a real gem…

I don’t hold out much hope for any crabbers going out today. I was just doing some searching in the database - near as I can tell, there are only 4 who are on our short list, and only one is easily verified. I’ll try to check him today, but I don’t know what we’ll do about the other 3. Since we don’t have trailer license numbers, we can’t know if they’re leaving from a public ramp. And they want us to just sit and wait. Yeah, that’ll happen.

There is one guy who tends to go out at the same time every time he goes out - he might be easy to double check. We’ll see…

Can I subscribe to the MMP digest? I’d like to keep up, really I would!

:slinks back off to do lesson planning for next week:

**Sticky **- just follow me. You know you find my life fascinating and compelling.

Coffee. Hurry and finish brewing.

Oh, my boss is one of the nicest people I know, and I am not exaggerating or lying or being sarcastic here. There are just a few things I don’t like about her. The fact that I can’t cough around her without her commenting on it, for example, although now that she knows I don’t like that, she seems to have stopped doing it. Either that, or I just haven’t had a cough in a while. I also hate it when she forces me to smell things, but that hasn’t happened in a while either.

Back from verifying that a specific crabber didn’t go out - his boat was sitting on the trailer in his front yard. So I guess it was a successful check. If his boat hadn’t been there, I’d have had to sit and wait for a while.

Incidentally, the wind is blowing from the southeast, pushing water into the Chesapeake Bay, and the tide is extremely high in the rivers feeding the bay. I passed one public ramp where the piers at the ramp were underwater, as was half of the parking lot. And yet people were still launching their boats. Yoiks!!

Another slow irk day.

Somebody in the neighborhood must have gotten a new car or new alarm system. I suppose that beating the car to a pulp with a baseball bat will do nothing to silence the alarm.

Got up early this morning and watched the beginning of the 2014 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. It’s a sight to see, that’s for certain; I’ve got a link to a video from last year’s show up on my feed on facebook if anyone is interested. I have not seen it in person, but even viewed on tv, it’s a magnificent and magical thing to see. My favorites are the special shape balloons; they have all sorts of characters! One of my favorite ones is the Creamland Cow. I also have a special place for Smokey the Bear. LOL So yes, I was up at 5 am, watching the balloons doing their dawn patrol. Tonight will be a “glowdeo” where they light up at dusk, it’s really beautiful.

Other than the Fiesta, it’s pretty quiet around here today. LOL Well, as quiet as it can be with 850,000 expected for the Fiesta!! They won’t come by where I live, fortunately. My son is doing well with his students and team, although after winning their first three games, I think they have experienced the other side of the coin, so to speak. Ah well, they must learn to roll with the punches, and get up and keep going. They can only grow stronger, I think.

Rosie’s .sig to any and all who need it. Happy Saturday all! And best wishes for Yom Kippur to those of the Jewish faith.

Mowage has been accomplished. Both yahds are all spiffed up. Ok, mowed and edged which is as spiffy as we do. 'Tis 70 Amurrkin out and sunny. So nice to have windows open and a nice little breeze. Anywho, we mowed, went by Long John Silver’s for some take out, et that and showered. OYKW is in snoozeland. I may go join him. Da bear is tahrd.
