Don't carry a psycho cat when you're nekkid in the MMP

I’ve put away all the sewing stuff and vacuumed up enough hair to build another cat. I also figured out that my turntable is messed up, not the speaker wires, so there’s that. When **FCD **gets home, I’ll talk to him about options for fixing the turntable - I think we just need to replace the 2 output wires, but he’s got more experience with that sort of thing than I do, so I don’t want to forge ahead, lest my learning curve make things worse. Still, my troubleshooting was spot on, so yay for that.

Mostly sunny hasn’t happened, but at least there’s been no rain. With luck, all the clothes I hung out will be dry eventually.

Brunch is ingested, and Gordie has been walked. Need to hit the Sto before work.

[Johnny]Well, let’s see. First the earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes. And Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di’s clothes. I couldn’t believe it. [/Johnny] Then swampy bought TP.

But it would be strangely satisfying.

Sounds nifty, Herbs.

Speaking of being strangely satisfying, the Black Watch is so going to kick your arse. :dubious:

Sweetie is home and awake from his nap. Laundry is down, folded, and put away, mail has been retrieved and recycled, except for the one and only piece that was of value, and supper has been ordered - wings for my sweetie, calzone for me.

The sun is finally out. Of course it is, now that my laundry is in. And the cold front is moving thru - temp has dropped to 64°. Ah, autumn!!!

It’s not gotten about 60 American here all day. And the wind’s blowing. Ah, that mountain air!

Somebody remind me to take the African violet out of the window tonight.

Spaz

DON’T FORGET TO TAKE THE AFRICAN VIOLET OUT OF THE WINDOW TONIGHT!!!

Subtle enough?

Dindin shall be sammiches should one desire.

DON’T FORGET TO TAKE THE AFRICAN OUT OF THE WINDOW TONIGHT, VIOLET!!!
I think mine’s better

My calzone was yum. I assume FCD’s supper met with his approval also.

I closed most of the windows - it’s supposed to drop to 41° tonight and there’s a chilly breeze blowing in right now. The bedroom is still open, but we’ll lower those windows when we go to bed. We’ve got a picnic tomorrow and I’m supposed to wear my newly-painted t-shirt. Hope it’ll be warm enough that I won’t have to wear a hoodie over it!

Time for knittage. MWAH!!

Irk has been busy today which is a good thing.

Frozen burritos for dinner.

I need to do one more load of laundry, I should have done it today.
One more day here and then Monday after my dr appt I am out to Hagerstown for real. It’s gonna suck to sleep in a chair until my bed gets delivered but such is life. It won’t kill me.

The African violet is now out of the window and on the floor. I may turn on the heat tonight depending on how cold it gets.

Now it’s hat time. I got the top done. This is what I’m making, only it’s in purple. It’s the Swirl Beret from the Crochet Fashonista Workbook.

I too shall close windows tonight. 47 Amurrkin is a bit too cool to have open windows for moi.

I’ve had my window closed for a while now.

There was so much to do today and I got so little done. Back to working on stuff soon.

All of the ABQ TV stations have live cams streaming over the interwebz for all of us to watch. 700ish balloons taking off in waves (because as big as the field is, it isn’t nearly big enough)

Tonight is the gas balloon launch!

Herbs, I wish I was there.

spaz, that’s a pretty hat!

Washed two loads of towels and ran errands today. I stopped at the perfume shop on the square to replenish my supply. The stationary store was having a sale but they didn’t have the envelopes that I was looking for for a new card design that I came up with.

When my friend gets here, it’ll be time to put something in the DVD player and make popcorn.

The hat is done. It has been uploaded to Facebook.

That means there is a current photo of me in existence. world ends

The UPS ninja struck last night and delivered a picture frame I’d been waiting for. The postman rings twice, but UPS quietly slinks up to the door, leaves the box and evaporates. At least the dogs saw him drive away and started barking.

Smart dogs  Something happens ands they start barking 30 seconds later.

Our windows are closed, we have skunks behind the condo along the rail bed.
Mind you, the A/C just kicked in too–this place is so well insulated that we could stew in our own juices.

Low 60’s outside.

Home form work. 54 degrees Amerikun outside.

I’m friends with a pub full of drunken Irishmen. bring on the Scots!

Nah, You and the Crazy Hat[sup]TM[/sup] look good.
