Don't carry a psycho cat when you're nekkid in the MMP

rosie, you could make your birthday present to yourself a little vino every night.

swampy, so you had the borgasmord for supper again? Sounds like you need a teenager or a dog around da cave to clean up those pesky leftovers.

I went to the pro from Nashville today. He says that I can return to irk tomorrow until the 27th when surgery is scheduled. Looks like I have to get creative with the Halloween costume this year. :stuck_out_tongue:

Happy Toosday!

Even if it is almost over.

Happy Birthday Rosie

Took another truck load out to Hagerstown and bought two chairs while I was out there. Washer and dryer are on order.

no, not every night. I’ll have to skip my meds tonight. which means I’ll be extra blurfy in the morning

BTW - Ice Wine, as yummy as it is, is a little much after the first glass. But it mixes nicely with Lipton Citrus Green Tea. Yeah, I finished the whole bottle. Wheeee.

My bro’s gift to me was to go halfsies on my new desk/hutch combo

Work ran long. Listening to hockey on the radio. I’m off the next two days ,so today is my friday.

I’ve had 2. Lucretia was insane. Thrakazog was cool.

Thrakazog was a handsome boy (I have a soft spot for yellow tiger cats). I had Miss Figgy, who was truly psycho and Domino, who was the one who attacked from behind but was mostly cool.

Happy Birthday Rosie!!

Happy Hump Day!

I am up way too early.
I thought I had my day planned, to catch up on laundry and and clean my room.
Now I got emails telling me my washer and dryer which were supposed to be delivered next week are being delivered today (the washer) and tomorrow (the dryer).
I guess I will be heading out that way sometime today and spending the night. I’ll have to sleep in a chair.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 66 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 84 for the day but I think it’ll get up to around 90 before the afternoon is over. It just feels like it’ll get warmer than the prediction.

My good buddy from irk retired yestiddy. This makes me sad. There’s a little soiree for her tomorrow evenin’ (really more late afternoon) which I shall attend. Was it evile of me to have sent her a text sayin’ “Happy first day of retirement!” at five-thirty this mornin’?

Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and need to feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas, and alack, irk uprtification must commence. I get to take a trip to the south forty this mornin’ so at least I get to leave from da cave. This means I can be a slackard until seven-thirty.

Happy Hump Day (no camel again this week) Y’all!

I gots me a dentist appointment at 8 this morning, so when I woke at 6, I figured I’d better get up. Can’t sleep too long you know, despite having had a terrible night. So I just finished breakfast and I’m finishing caffeination. In about half an hour, I’ll shower and get dressed. The office is less than 5 miles from here, making it a quick ride. Just a cleaning today (I hope) - maybe x-rays, but I’ll see if we can pass on them till next time, since the coffers are a bit bare after my trip.

I’ve got a huge pile of photos next to me that I’m going to sort. Some will be scanned, some will be set aside for my daughter, but most will be tossed when it’s all done. From the looks of the few I’ve already looked at, color photos don’t hold up really well over lots of years in random storage situations. So we shall see. If nothing else, I’ll have a new batch of TBT pics for FB.

**swampy **- a super-early text is only evil if the recipient is one of those people who sleep with their phones so they don’t miss anything. You could text me any time of the day or night, and I might get the message within a day or so, depending on where my phone is. Speaking of which, its minutes expire in 2 weeks - do I let them go or extend? I hardly ever use the dumb thing, but sometimes it’s nice to have. Decisions, decisions…

Happy One-th of October and Happy Wednesday!!

Happy Hump Day again!

I’m sleepy but up and at irk.

It’s a cloudy 64 degrees outside with a projected high of 73. Not a bad day.

I called UPS this morning and they are going to hold my washer and dryer for me to pick them up so no rush trip to Hagerstown this am and I can do the things I planned to do around here.
I also got an email this am that the bitchster lawyer finally got the papers to the title company so I may not have to switch title companies after all.

I’ve been dentisted! My toofies are all clean and polished. My regular dentist wasn’t in yet, so one of his associates gave my choppers the once-over. I swear, he wasn’t over 12 years old!!! When did they start giving DDS degrees to toddlers?!?!?

We meet with our finance guy at 1 to go over our annuities - annual check. Other than that, not a lot on the agenda today.

Up and caffeinated. Laundry today. Gordie has been barking all morning, since I have new neighbors moving in next door.

Here I am, at the horsepistol in [del]Mordor on the Potomac[/del]DC to find out about my biopsy results and hopefully get my stent scheduled.

: crosses appropriate and inappropriate appendages :
And don’t forget to ask about having that surgical zipper installed.

{{{{BBBobbio}}}}

I need to get up and get moving. I got some irk done, now it’s laundry time. I hate doing laundry.

It’s nice here today, just me and the son. The damn hounds from hell are gone and my mother and her bf went to the ocean. There’s still crap piled in the living room, I’d love to have some place to pile my stuff to get it ready to go but that’s not going to happen.

Crossing appendages for you, bobbio!

swampy, that wasn’t evil. Had it been a phone call, it would have been a capital offene.

Back at irk today. So far, I’ve spent more time on the phone getting all of the leave stuff straightened out than actually working.

yup. hangover. blurf.

Cooking bacon in the nude is risky as well.

Don’t ask.

We head out in the morn for Knoebels and the Phoenix Phall Phunfest so I treated myself to lunch out. I was sitting by where the food is placed for the waitresses to pick up and I heard the one start to sing quietly “When its springtime for Hitler”. So of course I joined in “Winter for Poland and France”. Then three other people scattered around the joint joined in for the next lines. We went all the way to “Germans go into your dance”. I love Dormont - by their standards I’m almost normal!

Prayers and good thoughts continue.

Day off today- though there’s probably not going to be many more leafletting days before I’ve been everywhere on the list, at least until the next newsletter comes out.

Made flapjacks, racked the wine, did shopping and washing, didn’t_'t go down the allotment to water stuff 'cos it rainded. Got most of the things done at least.

Went chestnut picking yesterday on the way home; looks like it’ll be a good year for them, though I think the season’s just starting. I need to figure out a few recipes, 'cos I’m incapable of just not collecting them. Hmmm.
