Don't miss Sharknado July 11th on Syfy

Heh. The CNN website took notice of this event: CNN

I heard one of the characters actually says, “we’re gonna need a bigger helicopter”.

My favorite part was the guy giving the “hang-10” sign before diving out of the truck that was to be launched into the sharknado carrying a bomb.
Or maybe the nursing home swimming pool being blown up via a little gasoline dumped in after a couple sharks landed in it.

I saw this was on but figured it would play all weekend. But I don’t see it on the schedule anytime for the next two weeks. I love movies like this. Not enough to watch very much of them, but the concept is still alluring.

It did not do well.

“The only thing that stops a bad guy with a shark is a good guy with a shark.”

ahahaha!!! It may not have done well but they were even talking about it on Bloomberg today. I have to wonder if how much of the revenue stream is from the initial showing.

I’m a little shocked by this. Dozens of people were commenting about it live on Facebook.

Poor timing. School’s out, people are on vacation, going out for the evening, their target audience was probably busy doing other things, and like me assumed they’d be able to see it over the weekend.

According to E! News a few seconds ago, it’ll encore July 18th.

I just saw the trailer. I am not in the States and don’t have access to those channels, so hopefully (?) it’ll be available here sometime.

As I posted elsewhere, “Sometimes something is so stupid, it’s glorious.”

Link that contains the trailer.

Since I don’t get that channel, I “watched” it through Twitter posts. And it was fantastic. I don’t think I can improve on the experience by watching the actual movie at this point.

But do the tornado sharks have frickin’ laser beams mounted on their heads?! Do they, huh?!

Numerous sites are now reporting that Syfy has scheduled a repeat airing for July 18 at 7:00 pm Eastern for anyone who missed it the first time.

I just watched the trailer. It was way funnier than I ever believed it would be. I like the homage to Jaws: "we’re gonna need a bigger helicopter "

I can’t wait for Ghost Shark.

It was simultaneously the best and the worst movie we’ve ever seen.

If internet buzz had even the remotest relation to real world interest, Ron Paul would already have finished his two presidential terms and *Firefly *would have lasted seven seasons.

I’ll watch July 18 if they rerun it. I’m kicking myself for missing out.

It’s currently running on Space Channel (Canada’s version of Syfy), but it’s after midnight here and I can’t stay up any later. Shit.

The thing that cracked me up the most was the ex-wife with the hedge clipper. I kept waiting for her to use that on a shark but alas . . .
