The whole thing has been kinda like a romantic buying a mail order bride. I haven’t heard it, not felt it, don’t know how much cleaning, wiring and set-up she needs. Do I like her? Does she like me? Where is she going to sleep?

I didn’t have any particular schedule so I waited a while. But eventually I decided I’d ask them to move the cars. However, I figured I’d get ready to go first. When I got out of the shower, I saw that the party was breaking up. Several of the vehicles had left and the remaining ones were getting ready to go. Five minutes later I was ready to leave and the driveway was clear.
As to what happened, I still have no idea. I just watched the local news but no mention of it. I see somebody is home next door so it apparently wasn’t a clean sweep (or they got released on bail).

Anyways, TGIF. I don’t know if RT will make it home this weekend which kind of sucks but there again I don’t want him to get sick. It turns out I was already sick the last time he was home and didn’t know it. So far he’s ok, I hope he stays that way.
Today I am going to meet my other mentor teacher that I’ll spend my second 8 weeks of the semester with. I’m looking forward to it.
I have been reading what everyone’s been up to but other than the suspense over Jim’s big purchase I have retained little.

Butters I like Appalachicola. Ain’t a whole lot to it but it’s a nice place to relax. Some good places to eat and I’ve stayed at a motel on the bay (can’t think of the name of it right now) that has screened balconies overlookin’ the bay. Just a nice place to sit, drink and watch the ships go by. You could also do dinner at a place called The Oaks (I think) in Panacea.
Ok, that’s all I got for now. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy requires sustanence. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence. Conference call this mornin’. Joy.

I had a really happy Q Day yesterday! I might write more about it later. I have to get my buttcheeks off to school soon.
(I was gonna say “I have to get my ass off to school” but buttcheeks sounded, um, I dunno, different.)
I got to sleep in!!! 
It’s overcast this morning so it stayed dark-ish and Higgs didn’t start whining till 6:45, so huzzah!!
I decided to go to Mom’s next weekend instead and I’ll spend this weekend gettting the yard ready for more plantage. I might even move a couple of azaleas - we shall see. Once **FCD **gets up, we’re going to get breakfast and run a couple of errands. Then I get grubbies on and start weeding and mulching. Good times!
Weird dreams last night. For some reason, we were living on the river where my grandparents had a cabin (decades ago!) and we had a guest we let sleep in our boat (one we sold almost 20 years ago.) There were lots of other people there, and in the course of the dream, Taz got out and ran away, a woman brought a kitten whose front leg has just been torn off, but the kitten wasn’t bleeding, and he seemed pretty cool about the whole thing.
Then the boat sank, so I just jumped into the water and pulled it to shore (yeah, I was super-human strong in the dream) and as I was helping to sort thru the stuff off the boat, including a turntable from my stereo, suddenly, I was cleaning my mother’s refrigerator and moving shelves around. Then **FCD **and I were at an odd movie theater that had different viewing rooms - some requiring you to pull stairways out of the walls. We were trying to get out, and I found a ramp thingie that lowered sharply to the parking lot, and while I was trying to figure out how to slide down and not crash at the bottom, **FCD **just walked out a few yards to the left. I then tried to pull the ramp back up and exit like a normal person, and I woke up.
OK, dream interpreters: GO!

Friday BLURF cause I am at irk awaiting a 1100 meeting. That would be the only reason I am in today.
Later today, after dining at my favorite Greek restaurant, I shall attend the Neptune Festival with my Sweetie and tomorrow we shall fix my closet. My closet has an organizer system (nothing exciting just two rows of hanger shelves) but they are too low. If I put things on the bottom one, the ends drag on the floor, if I put things on the top one then I can see anything on the bottom, so I shall make Mr. Jynxster raise everything up. I am kind of excited about this as I have wanted to do this since we moved in about 3 years ago.
It’s Hockey Night, so i can’t be too blurfy.

I’m at school now. I f I fall asleep in class, it’ll be Jian Ghomeshi’s fault! Haha Seriously, though, that was so much fun last night. I went to a live taping of one of my favourite radio shows. Great times
I’ve got so much to do today.
Morning all. The right side of my face is telling me that sinus infection is imminent. I suppose I’ll go to the McDoctor after work and get myself some antibiotics, so I can get started on beating it into submission.
Nemo, does your town have a police blotter online or anything? Because inquiring minds want to know. 
Butters, take the vacation. Especially if it’s use-it-or-lose-it and you’re not even going to get paid for days you didn’t take. The work pile-up when you get back might fill you with dread on the last day, but you’ll have several days before that when you don’t have to think about it, and everybody needs a vacation.
Happy Friday, everyone! I plan to spend the weekend babying my sinuses on the couch. Possibly working on my Halloween costume, whatever that might be.

Sorry about the mono, Sticky. That’s no fun.
It’s gorgeous out, so I’m going to get out of the house and find someplace with a patio for breakfast, I think. The hard part is deciding where to go.

It’s a muggy cloudy 62 degrees outside with a projected high of 72.
I just remembered that I have to send a reply as to whether or not I am going to my cousin’s wedding. I’ll have to go dig out the invitation and se what time it is. I have pet sitting that day but I will get done early. I kind of don’t want to go but I do enjoy seeing family.

I survived a three hour long conference call on which I learned nuttin’. Go Me! Playin’ Free Cell, Solaitaire and Hearts was fun though. I made a N.O.L. decision I am probably gonna regret in a couple of hours. I et a quarter pounder with cheese and a small order of fries from MickeyD’s. It’s been a while since I’ve done that and I think tummy may rebel in a while. We shall see. I plan on chikin nachos for dindin cause they’re good and they’re easy to make. Tomorrow shall include the makin’ of pear relish which means there are pears, lots of pears, twenty pounds of pears, to peal, core and chop. Oh well, should keep me off the streets.
