Apart from the whole Cheesesteak thing you know what my current biggest headache is?

I’ve gotten a bunch of RSVPs with no handles. So I get this email from someone named (as an example) Osama bin Laden. He says he’s glad to come and can he bring anything.
I tell him we’re glad to have him and bring anything he thinks everyone will enjoy.
Lady Chance: “Oh, another RSVP? Who was it?”
Me: “I have no idea.”

So, I’m not gonna ask for hotel info, 'cause it’s been posted too many times already, and that would just be rude.
However. Is anyone else gonna be staying at the Days Inn or whatever it is that’s about 20 miles away? Might be a fun idea to share a cab, 'cause I get the impression that 20 miles isn’t just around the corner - not to worry, I’ll convert it to kms myself.

I still see no challenges to my moon waffle claim. (I’m not suprised, it wasn’t really a boasting claim that would invite challenges. It actually wasn’t so much a claim as it was just a statement about waffles.)
You don’t beleive me when I say I’m going to make them, do you? Well I will, so break out the waffle iron, baby!

God’s Green Earth, indeed. I’m Canajun. Married me a ‘Mercan gal and settled down in the Heart of the Great Satan (My student loans are a LOT smaller now, thanks to the exchange rate). I know it’s 1 3/4 miles from my place to the Metro station, below 40[sup]o[/sup] is chilly, above 75[sup]o[/sup] is hot, and that’s about it. Canada, unlike some places I could name, has joined the Community of Nations and gone metric - the only system that makes some kind o’ sense.
I’ve always been rather averse to B&B’s 'cause I feel like I’m intruding in someone’s home. Rather silly, I’m sure, but what can you do? Lady Cheek has just gone “ooh! A B&B! Why didn’t you tell me?” So, I’ll check that out after all.
Is this open to newbies? If so I might make an appearance.

I can give rides back to hotels for anyone not capable of driving themselves, just so long as you’re not so looped as to be likely to puke in my car. I just bought the damn thing.
Geobabe, I recommend you do what I did for Airman Doors’ dopefest: bring along plastic trash bags for those who are looped.
Seeing as how there will be other options for transportation, I think I will just stick with my first plan, which is not to have anyone that drunk in my car at all. I’d really rather not have puke anywhere on my car, inside or out. But that’s just me.
Anyone need a lift down from New Jersey? I plan on heading down around 3am Sat morning, figuring I’ll avoid most of the traffic on the the roads.
