A last warning, especially to a certain Doper who’s cautioned me that his or her costume is somewhat minimal.
It’s cold up the mountain today. Dress warmly. You’ll need it.
I have a coat, but if need be, I will count on the gallant Dopermen to help keep me warm.
And here I wasn’t even talking about you.
But we’ll be gallant. Count on it.

Actually, I took it as more of a general sort of FYI, though my costume is also rather revealing.

I’m ready! I’ve been ready since 3 a.m., when my costume was in its final stages. (insert image here of moi with smelly, recently dyed hair, wearing wings and about 2/3 of a costume, fingertips covered in glitter, looking at tdc with a pouty face, saying, “But I wanna go to Virginia now!”)

Okay, I am in costume, and Jonathan, just for you I am coming in somewhat warmer attire so’s I don’t get pulled over for driving in boxers (all will be revealed [sub]but not THAT![/sub]…). However, I will at some point get down to my actual costume.
So if you see a guy putting a bag over his head, that’s me.

Anniz is resting up right now, and shortly we’re going to be getting into costume.
I hope someone is bringing a VCR, because we’ll have the wedding videotape with us!

Well, BFand I just got back from Dope-A-Ween. Thanks to Jonathan Chance for throwing a splendiferous Halloween shindig (That mead was warm and sweet, just like our host :D)
Thanks to Lucretia and Geobabe for grabbing my ass and making me feel all warm and schnuggly. It was the best Halloween party ever!

I’m heading off to bed right now and way too tired to post coherently, but I made it home safely (thanks to Weirddave!) and I had a great time.
It was absolutely wonderful meeting (or re-meeting, as the case may be) all of you, and a million thanks to Jonathan Chance and Mrs. Chance for hosting this shindig.

Hi, guys. This is iampunha’s mom. It’s almost 5 am, even considering that we set the clocks back an hour to end Daylight Savings Time, and there’s no sign of iampunha. Does anybody know where he is? Sleeping it off at the Chances’, maybe?
Unfortunately I have a really good imagination. I hate to think where he might be . . .
