Just priced plane tix on orbitz.com. The good news is, I can fly from Intercontinental (Sorry, I refuse to call it Bush) to BWI for $186 round trip. The bad news is, it’s on Continental, which may or may not be in operation in late October. The Southwest site is down, but I will check them out as soon as possible as a possible backup plan.
Airman Doors has kindly offered to pick me up at the airport and floor space, assuming the Air Force doesn’t offer him bunk space at Lackland AFB first. Otherwise, I will need floor space and a ride to and from the airport.
This is contingent on finances, of course, so I can’t really give a definite answer. I am putting the odds at 80-85% at my being able to attend.
Now, what to wear as a costume?

Hey, if you can make it and Airman Doors cannot pick ya up at BWI for whatever reason, I humbly volunteer to fill in. I’m not too far from both AD and BWI so I’d be glad to pinch-hit.
I also plan on getting a room at one of the hostelries near Maison Chance, so I’d be glad to make it a double and/or offer some floor space, bathtub occupancy, etc.
