I’m starting to think about attending. The best costume idea I have at the moment is flowing robes, a bo stave – and a six-shooter stuck in the belt cord.
He also wore my friend’s garter on his head.

Guin, was that you who was thinking about doin’ the Jedi thing? I’ve got a really cool lightsaber and an el-cheapo jedi costume (the kind of thing you can get from Spencer Gifts and such, all polyester or whatever). I’d like to be able to put together really nice jedi costume, but the expense would probably be quite prohibitive.

I’d love to find a way to come, but I’m not sure my car could handle a road trip to Virginia from here. I just hit 100,000 miles on a crappy Saturn (yeah, Dave, I finally admit it’s crappy…). I think I’d end up stranded somewhere around New York. Anyone from Boston want to carpool?
