I’m in! I’m a theatre nerd…lots of nerdy type theatre mugs in my cabinets.
I have a mug at work that I have discovered is now a rarity - the program under which I was awarded it no longer exists. I am willing to send this bit of Australiana (with accompanying documentation and possibly amusing anecdote) anywhere in the world. In fact I may stuff it with Aussie comestibles. Yes, I insist on a foreigner. Someone who knows nothing of Musk Lifesavers and the like.

The deadline for signing up for the Great Doper Coffee Mug Exchange is almost here. I’ll start sending out emails Sunday. Almost everyone wants to exchange with someone overseas, and not that many non-U.S.ers signed up, so I’ll be as fair as I can about it.

I know I expressed an interest in exchanging with someone overseas, but it’s no big deal at all. I’m equally happy to be a domestic exchanger.
Will we be doing a direct swap with “our” person or will we be sending to one person and receiving from another?
Just to make sure it’s understood, I don’t care if it’s an international doper or one from the next town. If there is anyone that has expressed a strong desire to mail to/from an int’l doper, by all means, give me a Statesider.

This is how I feel too… no worries if the person isn’t out of the country - just stating that I’m willing to exchange to overseas places. I’m on a first name basis with our post man He cringes when he sees me coming

That just makes things worse. I love the people who don’t want to ship outside the U.S. – I don’t have to feel guilty about disappointing them.
I don’t want to ship outside the US. Keep US mugs for US citizens! No mugs for furriners! We should get rid of tax breaks that allow companies to ship US mugs overseas! What sort of commie drinks from an imported mug, I ask ya!
