I’m trying to decide whether to recycle something out of the cupboard (I’ve got a nice one with our shared first initial), or go buy something. Either way, it ain’t getting mailed tomorrow!
Only two people are doing a 1-to-1 swap. For everyone else, your muggee will not be the same as your mugger. However, if you are sending a mug to another country, you will receive a mug from another country; that only seemed fair, considering the expense of postage.
Woo hoo!!! I got someone I don’t really know, so I’m doing a bit of research on what my mug recipient likes. <insert Columbo smilie here> This is gonna be way fun! I’m hoping to get it out mid-week.
Yeah, I can’t be made to look bad…but seriously, my muggee’s (ok, I get a giggle reading/writing that. I am so NOT the mugger type. But it makes me feel like I should be wearing a ski mask when I go to buy it.) will probably be sent Saturday - that’s when I know I can get to the post office, and I know I will have gotten my expense check by then (not that I’m getting some super fancy mug or anything, but I paid a lot of bills last paycheck.)
Chose one from the cupboard and wrapped it this morning – I’ll go to the P.O. later today. The smallest box I had was a shoebox, so it does kind of look like a bomb or something – I put “SDMB” above my return address so the recipient doesn’t have to x-ray it.
Mine hit the mails yesterday. It’s kinda heavy…I couldn’t stop with just a mug, you know?
I hope it doesn’t explode enroute…

Are we supposed to keep this a secret (who we’re sending to ot to whom we are sending, if ya want to get all grammatically correct)? Is it ok to email our “muggeee” to see if they have any special requests ? I want to have a happy muggee, afterall.
The only rule is that if your signed up, you gotta send someone a mug. I don’t think anyone would have a problem being contacted by their mugger via email. Do you have your muggee’s email address?
My muggee had only a handful of posts so I didn’t glean much there but I sent my package and hope they are pleased - if not they can always regift it this holiday season.

Ok, so let it be known that I’d rather not know who mine is coming from because I love surprises, and I’m not at all picky.
