Thank you Elysian, I love the mug and I really love the coffee and chocolates! I thought it might be from you when I saw the Saucony shoe box. Was that a coincidence, or did you end up getting a pair of Sauconys? If so, how do you like them?
I’ll be packaging my muggee’s mug tonight and hopefully it will be in the mail tomorrow. The mug doesn’t have too far to travel so my muggee should receive his/her goodies by the end of the week.
I did buy some Saucony shoes, from your recommendation, and I’ve found them to be very nice and an improvement over the Asics I was wearing before. Not a coincidence! I wondered if you would pick up on it.
But not that I’ve done something to my ankle I can’t jog for a while. And I was doing so well, too! I’ll just have to get right back into it once my ankles quits hurting.

When I went down to Boston last week, I was going to mail your package from there to be tricky…but I forgot that Post Offices are closed on Veteran’s Day. :smack: What are the chances that I was randomly assigned one of the two Dopers on the list that I’ve actually met in real life?
The mug can’t compare with your homemade ones, but at least it’s an unusual shape. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any Monopoly mugs. And ValleyGirl’s favoritest-thing-in-the-world is Cheerios, so of course she picked those.
I mailed my mug on Monday, Priority Mail. So my muggee should get it either today or tomorrow.
I’m sorry, muggee, I wasn’t clever enough to think of anything else to put in it. If I had, I would have put some candy in it or something. Next time, maybe.
Well my mom ust informed me that my mug came in the mail today. Unfortunately I won;t be home until the weekend to see it but thanks in advance. I’ll be sure to post this weekend with the contents and name of my mugger (gee that sounds bad :dubious: ). I forgot to ask who it was from but thank you now and I’ll thank you more when I get to open it. Can’t wait!
I have to apologize - my muggee’s mug has not yet been mailed. I bought it, but there’s not a post office on campus, and I haven’t made it to the post office in time after work yet. If I don’t make it by Friday, it will definitely be shipped Saturday, but I’m going to try to slip out early enough tomorrow to make it.
