Lemur - what I did was update the main page for Dip 1040 last night, to link to the pages that I’ll upload tomorrow morning and Thursday morning. It cuts down on how much thinking I have to do when I adjudicate and upload the results, while I’m still getting used to how to do everything. In a week or two, when this is more routine for me, I’ll probably be comfortable with uploading all the changes at once.

Thanks for the reminder, Shibb - I’d noticed that the title on the S01 page was off, late one night last week when I was too tired to fix it. Then I forgot. Try it now.
I also turned on the shading on the map on that page, so that the provinces with bases are shaded in the color of the Great Power that controls the base. (I find “bases” a lot more succinct than “supply centers” so I’ll probably use that wording more often than not. Besides, that allows for the occasional ‘all your base’ joke.) That was another thing I’d meant to do, but somehow overlooked when I was first getting the page ready for uploading.

Do you guys play this in real life? What’s a good way of getting started in a net game for a total newb? I’ve broken my D&D virginity, so I might as well Dip…
Speaking for myself only, I’ve never played in real life. I’ve just played here with the Straight Dope crew. I get the sense that a lot of these guys have been at it for years, though. I’d say a good way to get started would be to play in one of these games. That’s how I did it. There’s another thread out there in MPSIMS current to the last 2 days or so about a new game starting, if you’re truly interested.
The best way to find online games is to join cat23 at www.cat23.com. Sign up for the NGame (New Games) list and wait for the fairly regular announcements that someone is starting a game. That’ll get you started.
