No vanity search, but Abe Babe emailed me. I’m not taking over France in Mini-Me, since I’ve played France fairly often lately. But Abe says you need a replacement Russia in 1099, and I’m interested. But from the thread, it looks like it’s an Italy you need, not a Russia.
So which is it? And where are we in the game? I’ve seen the Spring 1903 map (after moves, before retreats). Have retreat orders been adjudicated, filed, or what? I’ve just been stabbed and have no future in my WM game, so I’m looking for another game right now.

I’m not sure about France in Mini-Me. In a letter to us, WL mentioned that he might need to drop out due to time constraints. I wanted to try to get some interest just in case.

No, Russia is tjblack. Biblio was russia in the first go-around of 1099, which is maybe where the misidentification is coming from.

What is the freaking deal? Do we have to send out engraved invitations? We’ve got people falling all over themselves to take Italy no less, but we still can’t get this game up and running.
Should we just consider it abandoned and go looking for another game? If so, that’s fine, I just need to know.

Man, you’re going to play Italy twice in one sitting. That might actually be a good plan, you can test things in one game and then apply them in the other.
Thats kinda what i was thinking.
At the very least i’ll come out of this knowing two ways not to play Italy
I’ll just have to be careful not to confuse Abe - since he’s turkey in this one and France in Fascination.
