I’m wishing peace and healing upon you right this minute, and I hope it helps. I also hope that you get your wish for another little one as soon as you’re ready.
First, - Mods - I’m sorry. This thread was completely inappropriate for IMHO -and I’ve lurked enough to know that. The original thread was in IMHO and I guess I just wasn’t thinking when I started this one. Duh. I’m sorry you had to move it and I’m sorry I didn’t even NOTICE that you’d moved it until tonight (but thanks).
Thanks to all of you who’ve expressed sympathy. I really do appreciate it. It helps. As Deej mentioned, the OB appointment today helped as well - everything is OK and I don’t need a D&C (lucky me). The doctor said that normally she would say to wait until two full cycles to try again, but since I’m older (less than a month from 35) we can start trying again after the next cycle - so I guess we’ll “jump back on that horse” some time in May or June. Hopefully it’ll work this time. It’s nice to hear about so many people who experienced the same thing and then went on to have healthy full-term pregnancies afterwards.
Most of the family and close friends know now, but I have to go into work tomorrow (we were off today for Easter) and I’m not looking forward to that. Thank goodness for the grapevine!
Thanks again to all of you. I can’t tell you how nice it’s been to check this thread and see all of your comments and know that everything I’m feeling - someone else has been there too.
Cricket
Oh, and lel, I didn’t know you were a Tucsonan too! This is a quick trip for a christening (Mr. Cricket and I are going to be Godparents!) so there won’t be much extra time, unfortunately, or I’d take you up on your offer. I’d love to meet some Tucson Dopers. I didn’t know there were many around here. We’ll have to start a “Tucsonans and Former Tucsonans” thread some time. It’d be fun to what the city’s like nowadays.
