It’s now Go Golden Eagles!!! In a rush of political correctness, they dropped the Warriors and changed to the Golden Eagles. Still, they’re going to the Elite Eight. Henry and Wade will lead the way!!!

Cyberhawk: Yeah, I agree that Gonzaga got screwed but they are not the only ones. I’m still pissed that the NCAA Tournament Committee, in the height of its finite wisdom, excluded Buter and Ball State. I think the committee makes its picks on the basis of which schools can drag the most fans to the tourney, and hence put the most money in the NCAA’s coffers, rather than on the basis of merit. This is the only reason that explains why the Big Ten continually sends 1-3 more schools to the tournament than it should. The Spartans should go to the NIT this year instead of the Big Dance.

Tom Coverdale, Dane Fife, Jared Jeffries and Kyle Hornsby are going to get hotter than hell, Indiana will bury a tournament-record 19 treys and the mighty Hoosiers will pull off the most stunning upset in several years. If Wisconsin can share the big Ten Championship playing 7 guys, 2 of which are freshmen, you know it’s a down year for the Big Ten. Then again, they did beat Marquette…
Does anyone else think Duke got an easy draw this year? The West is loaded, and the east… They’re good I guess, I haven’t seen them this year, but man, I’m really get sick of them in it every year. One wonders if they got the easy draw because they’re a good tv draw…No offense, Ultress.
