I always go to a craft fair run by the local parks department… but they’re only having one this holiday season and that’s next weekend and I’ll be out of town :mad:. I found another one, a Sugarloaf fair, the following weekend and I suppose I’ll have to make time to go to that one. Me loves my handmade ornaments.
Plus that might be a good place to get something for the Secret Santa exchange

Ornament shipped.
I think I paid more to ship the packaging than I did to ship the ornament. But it wasn’t a large sum either way.
Cool - looks like Eureka got the first-shipped award for the first round.
A notice / reminder: if there are any Dopers who are interested in participating, but who have not signed up, I’ll do a second round of matches in a couple of days. So feel free to keep on signing up!!
Wow. Um, I am not going to be sending mine until at least Monday or Tuesday. What? I’m on vacation!
Mine went out this morning with the big wave of Xmas packages. Whew.
I have to find a box to ship mine in so it may take another day or two. Hmmm, where to find ornament sized boxes…
I just got a contact lens shipment in a box that was perfect!
Since my ornament was flat–and not fragile–it went in one of those bubble mailing envelopes. I had several other things which I wanted to mail, so I had the ornament all packed up just waiting for an address, when I checked my e-mail, wrote down the address, and headed off to the post office with my arms full.
Sent! It’s in a bubble-envelope, which will be more than sufficient to protect it. It should take 2-3 days to arrive. 
The local place that has cool ornaments won’t be open until Thursday. Patience, grasshopper . . .
