Actually, BunnyGirl is the one who lives in Lansing. I live in New Baltimore, which is right by Algonac. Of course, it depends on what day this is going to happen. If Sucellus and UncleBeer accommodate Satan and Drain by making the party on the 25th, then I’m going to have to pass because I have something else going on that evening.

Hmmm, we seem to have a little bit of a sticky wicket here. At the risk of alienating some of you fine folk, I’m going to lightly toss my hat in the March 25 ring. Of course, there are quite a few people who haven’t weighed in here yet.
As another option we could push this back to the end of April and see how that flies.

I should be able to make it, whenever it is. I’m kind of partial to “as soon as possible,” because I had a good time last time, and the rush is starting to wear off.
Can anyone recommend a moderately-priced motel in the vicinity? I may possibly make this an overnight gig.
BunnyGirl–will your husband be attending? If he is, have him bring his gear. I’ll have Tim bring his stuff, then this little shindig will have a live band. For free.

Cristi, I haven’t mentioned it yet because that may be the weekend we go down to Nashville. He has a friend who’s doing a show and wants him to play. BUT!!! If he does come, I’ll have him bring his gear! That’d be excellent. I’ll keep you posted on the status of the trip. We haven’t heard anything since January so we’ll see. I would prefer to make it overnight too. Hotel (cheap mom-n-pop’s) recommendations are welcome!!

I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone again. 
All right, here’s what we are gonna do. We’ll have this monster on both weekends, March 25 and April 1. I really hate to set a date that excludes anyone and my schedule is always flexible. Come either weekend, or both. Or you can stay the entire week. How’z dat?
I’ll dig up some relatively close and inexpensive hotels and post addresses and telephone numbers. I’ll get Sucellus to e-mail directions to his house to everyone, but I’ll tell you now, it’s just west of Toledo; US-23 is probably the best route if you are coming from the north. If you are coming from the east, you’ll want to take the turnpike, I-80. If you are coming up from the south, try US-23 to I-75. My pad is about 2 miles from party central and I could accomodate a couple of overnight guests if you don’t want anything too fancy. I’m talking the couch or a sleeping bag. If anyone cares to camp, we have a couple small tents and about 6 acres available, too.
If any of you have special dietary requirements, and if you have them you’ll know what I mean, please either post them or e-mail them to me so Sucellus and I can take care of getting the proper food. I thinking about burgers and brats and maybe some chicken wings on the grill along with the usual compliment of side dishes. If you could also let us know which day you plan to attend, that will help us with the food purchases. I’ll will pick up a few cases of beer and other alcoholic beverages, please let me know your preferences.
I get Sucellus to post back here and give blessing to this also; I’m sure he’ll have no problem with it.

Well, Brian’s not going to be taking that Friday off of work after all, so we won’t be able to make it to the March one after all. Sorry.
I think I’m good for the April 1st one. Will double-check with the spouse and firm things up. I’ll bring dessert and a salad-y type dish. Any requests for dessert? I love to cook, so don’t worry that it’ll be too hard. (I don’t know how to make flaming-type desserts, so just get them out of your pointy little head!).
I just realized I almost offered to bring “desert”. The Sahara or the Gobi? Any preferences?
