I would also like a list of inexpensive hotels in the area (I’m talking cheap cheap, as long as it’s not called the No Tell Motel). Of course, I’m all for a camp out on the living room floor deal too. I have a Marlboro arctic sleeping bag that would work well for such an occasion.

Be advised: “Chez Sucellus” has hardwood floors…great for walking, not great for sleeping (sober).
I do have and upstairs loft with NO furniture, but it does have nice fluffy carpeting.
I urge people to consider the camping option, weather permitting. The super extended forcast is calling for either warm and sunny or cold and shitty, with a slight chance of a tornado or alien invasion.

The shindig is happening at a pretty busy time for me, but I haven’t given up hope of making it yet. I should know better if I can do it by the end of this week.

Shadow, you can show up at 6am if you like; it won’t bother me one iota. At least until Sucellus calls and wakes me up.
Actually, any time after about 4pm is fine. I’m usually awake on the weekends by about then.
Actually, I was kidding about the 6 a.m. part. I have to work Friday evening, which means I won’t even get to bed until at least 3 a.m. Saturday. Most hotels will not let you check in until after 3 p.m. anyway, so starting the party at 4 p.m. sounds like a good plan to me.

I noticed in another thread that Shirley Ujest remarked that she lives in Clawson, which is only a hop, a skip and a jump from Troy, where Saraam now resides. Maybe one of us should “kidnap” her and bring her down to Toledo.
Cristi, about meeting somewhere so we can drive down “caravan style”, I need some idea as to your intended driving route. I’m still trying to decide whether to take I-75 down there or US-23.
