Translucent Daydream, the UPS tracking says someone other than you signed for the shot glass - did you get it?
LunaV, on the contrary, I’ve often thought that it’d be really cool to have a Doper Hometown Shot Glass Exchange–so that Dopers around the world have shot glasses that come from wherever other Dopers post from.
But that’s just me, and for now just my pipe dream.
If I get you next time, I’ll try to find one from one of my hometowns. I’m not sure about Cudahy or Whitefish Bay, but I’m quite sure I could find one from Racine…and well Milwaukee (or Harley Davidson) it’s hard not to find those.
Next year, then. For sure.

I sent mine out to Razz but he/she seems to a double secret ultimate lurker. He/she has one post and his/her last activity was in October of 2001, yet he/she still lurks enough to sign up for the trade, though email. When I have time at work tomarrow (if I remember) I’ll check the tracking info and make sure it got there.
Well, her email address is that of a university, IIRC. That might explain her sporadic posts and whatnot.

My send went through a series of peterselleresque moments that delayed its departure, but is now on its way to Alaska in the good company of a little extra that I understand my recipient will appreciate.
Transit time from Puerto Rico to Alaska… we will see.

Yay, so glad to hear it! The lady at the shipping place kinda crammed it into that teeny box, so I was worried it wouldn’t make it in one piece…
