Scott Saute-Moutons is jet-boating on the River (close to Lachine/Old Montreal), nothing kinky!!! But I checked their website, and it is expensive. I guess you can get a deal when there’s a group but La Ronde is a better idea.
$30 is not so bad if people we committed to spending a whole day at La Ronde…
If it was a partial day thing, it may not be totally worth it…
We can bring Aaron’s portable playpen. He’s perfectly happy sleeping in that, and it’s a hell of a lot easier to set up and transport than a crib. Same with his high chair.

P.S. back to Eonwe’s mention of Canadian commercials airing in the states, when did Mourelatos go digital? I loved the used-car-dealership feel of their old spots. IIRC the last one I saw was pretty high-tech and had dancing fruit (and no, it wasn’t scott evil or matt_mcl at Le Zone)

La Ronde, BTW, is $29 for the day (entry and rides).
Unfortunately, I’d love to go and meet all you Dopers (and see some again), but I won’t be able to make it. 
I’ll tell you guys if something changes though.

All systems are a go. UDA may not be able to make it for the entire weekend, but I (the intrepid kfl) will!
We would both like to do La Ronde and Mount Royal (but not if it makes matt feel oogy). We are also up for pretty much anything else. Warning: may contain lesbianism.
Also, August 16th is a religious holiday for me, so I ask that everyone respect my observance and tolerate my devotion on that day.
scott, do we know who’ll be there which days and such? I just got invited to a friend’s wedding on the morning of the 16th, so I’m thinking I might not go up Friday but go up Saturday instead.
