…there has been a recurring question, in one form or another, of the age distribution at SDMB.
The excellent work done by NinetyWt in summarizing the responses by year, as well as the replies in the **“Old Folks: Stand and be counted”
** thread, suggested to me that one more push to get as many of the “older Dopers” accounted for, might be worth a try.
So far, this thread is proving successful in that sense, and I have found many other threads not mentioned in the OP that have provided some details that are included in the “<<<< year” lists.
I’m aware that not everybody is curious about the numbers of older people who participate here, but the responses convince me that I’m not alone in that interest.
As is always true, if this thread’s purpose doesn’t appeal to you, there are other threads that may.
And I must also say that my man NoClueBoy is not lying when he says that I like lists! 
At some point in the future, when it looks as if the replies are drying up, I will repost the entire collection for ease of reference for those whose curiosity is piqued by the answers. Meanwhile, I’ll stick with reposting the updated “<<<< year” lists.
Not sure if you’re interested in low-post-count Dopers, but if you are I’m in 1961.

Post count doesn’t affect the age distribution, nor does the matter of still being alive. I have tried to mark (with an *) those who are no longer able to post. If I have overlooked others who have passed on, I’d appreciate knowing of them.
Also, I have encountered a good number of people whose last activity was at least a year ago and have thought I might contribute that list to the “MIA Posters” thread at some point.

Here’s an update of the yearly lists. I have run across dozens of threads where birth years have been mentioned, as well as some older threads that dealt directly with birthdays and such.
I still have a list of another 100+ names where age is all I have to go by to figure an approximate birth year. If your name is not on one of these lists, that’s probably why.
Again, please let me know of errors and/or omissions of people born before 1964.
If deceased Dopers aren’t marked with “*” I’d like to know about them, too.
