I apologise, MelDopers - At the designated meeting time, I was still at work (despite my shift being supposed to finish at midday), because an emergency came in. By the time I got out of there, I worked out it would be 6pm before I made it to Melbourne, and at that point I was too tired to care.
I’m pissed off, because I was looking forward to meeting you all, and some dumb dog had to go get himself run over and prevent me from getting there :smack:
We missed you phraser but figured something like that must have happened. Dogs are inconsiderate creatures sometimes

The photos were fantastic, and the video especially made me smile.
we are pretty slack but there will be another in October/November in honour of Ice Wolf’s visit even if we don’t manage anything before then. Let us know when you can come up next with some free time though and we can likely pull something together in honour of you just relocating to our wonderful state.

It was indeed a fun afternoon, but nothing really spectacular happened that is worth going over. Just a few drinks, a few laughs and a few embarrassing photos.
I hope there are some new faces at the next get together! (And maybe some more blokes there - I’m not much good at standing up for my sex on my own 
)

Crap. Just at the time approaching the Melbourne Dopefest, I have to go and move to Melbourne. I didn’t have internet for a while there, and now when I think to myself ‘hrm… I wonder what happened with that Melbourne thing’ I find that it’s just gone. Well, not so much ‘just gone’ as ‘gone ages ago’, but still.
That video was top-notch, incidentally.
