I’m a tentative yes, depending on when it’s held (I can’t make Friday night or Saturday until the evening). Otherwise, I’ll agree with Kayeby and say … sounds like fun

Fer gawd’s sakes Clever Hans, we dinkum Aussies sound nothin’ like Paul 'Ogan. Geez, stone the bloody crows mate, we pride ourselves on our distance from Hoges (and that sorry apology for an Aussie, Steve Irwin erghghhh) and their Ockerisms. So if all of youse bludgers can knock-off with the stereotyping, I’ll shout ya’s a beer next time yer game to venture ‘downunder’.
Actually, I’ve met Leechy, Loaded and Henry, and not one of them sounds anything like our exported Products. Which, by the way, are non-returnable. Suffer.
Dammit, kambuckta - I spent so much time working on that Crocodile Hunter impersonation before last Meldope … it looks like I’ll need to put in some more of the hard yards, take it one day at a time and just try to be part of the better team on the day. (Whoops, slipped into cliched Aussie sportsman instead of Outback Jack - looks like I need more work).

Just popped in, like Clever hans, to say something that’s totally irrelevant. So sue me. 
If you all are hoping to meet Spoz, you’re all out of luck. I was talking to him last night on ICQ, and mentiloned that he might want to check out this thread. He told me that it wasn’t something he’d be likely to turn up to. (never mind that he lives in Adelaide, which is about one and a half hours away by plane from Melbourne, according to him)
Too bad. I was hoping that he’d say he’d turn up with his musical group (mainly him and some MC named Copie One), so you all could hear his tunes. Oh well, there goes that idea.

And for any who are interested Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings is screening at the Astor on Friday the 9th of August. I’ll be there celebrating my decline into old age as yet another birthday passes by.
