3 1/2 year olds list to Santa:
- Dora doll house
- Ladybug pillowpet
- Barbie from Toy Story 3
- Puzzles
- Jesse and Bullseye from Toy Story
3 1/2 year olds list to Santa:
The Girl no longer qualifies as ‘little kid.’ She wants some fairly mainstream teenage stuff.
The Boy wants pretty much everything that is advertised on Nickelodeon, but with a sepcial emphasis on Tech Decks and Bakugan. Legos, too. And coloring books.
So, there’s some modern stuff, and some old stand-by stuff too.
Fang (7) wants Legos and Star Wars toys.
Spike (3) wants Dinosaur Train toys.
Squeaky (19 Months) wants a BALL!!! and whatever Spike is playing with.
My daughter is 5 and the number 1 thing on her list is a She-Ra costume. She found the show while searching Netflix streaming last week and it’s now her favorite show ever! LOL
She also wants Lego Harry Potter game, Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton version), dress up costumes (Tangled, Indian Princess, Cleopatra, and Belle), a car she can drive, a doll house big enough for her to fit in, a bed with a curtain that hangs from the ceiling, and any Barbies she doesn’t already have (this is the first time she’s ever asked for a boy doll to go with her Barbies – she wants Prince Eric, but I know one Aunt got her Flynn Rider).
My two younger sons, ages 7 and 11, both love Legos and have for a loooong time. You can’t go wrong giving them more Legos. Our eldest son, age 14, just wants money.
My 5 year old wants a piggy bank & my 8 year old wants a sew-your-own doll clothing kit.
My 4.5 year old wants everything he sees, but we’ve narrowed it down to an Iron Man mask and a Bumblebee Transformer thingie.
My 1-year-old daughter will get… I don’t know what she’s going to get, truthfully. My son was so easy - when he was her age, he liked sticks. That’s it - sticks. My car and our garage were full of sticks, straws and twigs - pretty much anything that looked remotely stick like. My daughter? Much more complicated. The rocking horse idea sounds good. My mom keeps getting her these obnoxious noise-making toys that make me want to tear my hair out. Luckily, most have an off switch.
Where did you find this? My son is 3 and just got his “doctor kit” from Santa at a Christmas party, so we were thinking a lab coat would be nice…
Brendon Small
My boy (age 10) only asked Santa for things he would need to be a good Pokemon trainer. He just got into this stuff a month ago, but he’s very enamored of it.
So that’s what he’ll get from the Big Guy.
His dad and I got him a Rock Band guitar and a couple of games to go with it, some books, and a Build-A-Bear gift certificate.
He and his sister are both getting Pillow Pets, as requested.
My daughter, age three, wants every single toy she sees. But what she really really wants is the Baby Alive doll called Baby All Gone, that “eats” plastic cereal and bananas. I’m relieved she doesn’t want the one that pees and craps. She also wants the Go Go Walking Pup. Those gifts will be from my mom and mother in law, respectively.
Santa hasn’t decided yet which of the gifts stashed in the closet will be from him. There’s a tea set and some other small presents. I may be forgetting some gifts, because I started shopping and stashing early this year.
I have no kids.
That said, children love Dinosaurs.
My husband is a PT and it was in one of the catalogs they get at work. Here you go! You can opt for “custom embroidery” to get the name put on.
Eldest BellumBoy (age 5) wants just about everything he sees on TV, including Go Go, but especially desires TRIO Batman. He isn’t actually aware that TRIO is a kind of building set, like Legos, so of course buying “TRIO Batman” by himself wouldn’t be very much fun. So he’s also getting a large set of basic TRIOs.
GirlBellum (age 3.5) is getting a much-desired Dora the Explorer backpack that talks and sings. I can hardly wait. Groan. She is also getting a set of basic TRIOs in pink, in an amount equal to her brother, to promote the idea of “OUR” blocks rather than “MY” blocks since I know they’ll all get mixed together in one big mess anyway. Maybe a few skirmishes will be averted. A mom can hope.
Younger BellumBoy (age nearly 2) is getting a stacking/nesting set of alphabet blocks and a little wooden shape-sorting clockdealie.
Littlest BellumBoy (age 5 months) will be getting a token gift of a squeakytoy. The budget only stretches so far and he’s already got an admirable collection of toys and junk.
I paid for all these fine items by clicking away on Mechanical Turk.
You know that’s not an accident, right?
Next year when my nephew gets a little bit older I’m going to get him a bike horn. That’s it, just a horn. And a drumset. And a toy keyboard.
I will be officially firing the first salvo.
Mine’s 5.
She likes everything, but at this age the techie stuff isn’t quite as fun for her as dolls and small playthings. She wants Polly Pocket stuff big time, and also Zoobles and Hot Wheels stuff.
And of course, anything dinosaur-related.
Trip to the U.S.
7yo: Squinkies, a Melissa & Doug ice cream playset, a Toothless toy that shoots “flame” from its mouth (she played with one at a friend’s house). She’s also been coveting a hat I’ve been “knitting for my friend’s daughter” and measuring using Chloe’s head. I only get to run this scam once, I guess, but it’s working like a charm.
2yo: When asked what she wanted for Christmas, she looked pensive and said, “Ummm” for a full 20 seconds, before settling on “a pwesent.” It was adorable. When pressed for details she said “a toy.” She’s getting Diego figures, Dinosaur Train plushes, and a Nursing Nanaset, since her sister has the cat version and they both always want to play with it.
I don’t have any kids…but I do know that I will be receiving at least one Lego set for Christmas. Lego bricks and sets have pretty much been on my wish list since age 6 or so.
My little cousin (age 7) had quite a list this year…mostly kid-friendly cosmetic kits, shower sets, and other pink/sparkly things. I got her a small set of shower gels/lotions/body splashes; there were four different scents included.
I just found out that Gramma is getting the sprog a Wii. So the DSi XL is right out.
Pillow pets seem really popular! I have one in the back of the closet for mister also. Been holding myself from buying myself a penguin one…
My 9-yr-old daughter has asked Santa for:
