I’ve been lucky enough to meet a few Dopers already, and they’re a grand bunch! (Well, except for that old swampbear - such a scruffy specimen! )
Honestly, I’d love to meet all of ya, but my short list includes:
Rue DeDay, of course - we’ve exchanged emails since the days of Uncle Rue, Story Guy, and I feel like I know him and his family already.
Cartooniverse - we used to chat semi-regularly on IM and he cracks me up. We were within a few days of meeting a few months back, but we couldn’t sync up.
Eutychus - I talked with him on line a few times, too, and I’d really like to meet him.
Aries28 - just to give her a hug for the Book Fairies effort.
Kallessa - mistress of bad puns.
I’m going to stop here, knowing I’ve probably hurt feelings by not mentioning someone. Honestly, I’d invite any Doper into my home - heck, I let swampy sit on my couch!!

jjimm: Because he’s funny, and likes to drink and swear, which is pretty much all I require in a person. Since discovering he’s married though, my feelings for him are no more than sisterly admiration. No, really, it’s true!
Angua: Because she’s also funny and likes a drink, plus she’s a TP fan. And she’s awesomely brainy, and I don’t yet have enough people in my life to make me feel inadequate.

And I plan to meet you, garius, unless my business fully tanks. I’d like to meet just about everyone, so I don’t know whether I should join this lovefest. Maybe Mastema because every now and then he needs a good thrashing. And Jonmarzie (sp?) because I’m curious of whether he’s a boy or a girl. Weirddave so he’ll stop invading my countries. Jonathan Chance because he throws good parties. White Lightning and Munch because they’re both such avid football (American version) fans. Hickory to buy him a lobster and beer dinner and say “thank you”. See, this thing is getting long already and I haven’t scratched the tip of the iceberg (he says, mixing his metaphors).
Most of the Dopers I want to meet I’ve already met, and in the case of the MADs, see semi-regularly (although we need to do something in DC). However, I’d just kill to meet Eve, and although we have been in the same room at the same time, I’d love to spend some time picking Ed Zotti’s brain.
Also on my list are Qagdop, twickster, brianjedi and the rest of people in chat whom I haven’t met yet.
I’d like to meet NoClueBoy (well after that comment, why not!), EddyTeddyFreddy, Flamsterette_X, the DupDopers - cause they seem like a bunch whose skills in the pub match those of the BritDopers, and various others, whose names I’m too tired to remember.
