One thing has irked me ever since I came to this board. Pretty much every time someone makes a double post, they post a third post saying something similar to "Oh Em Gee! I made a double post! I am such a :wally " No one thinks of a double post as a grab for attention, since it’s so easy to do one. Posting a “woopsy” message doesnt accomplish anything at all. In fact, in my mind it makes you a person who values a high post count as much as Jesus valued his wine making skills.
So what the fuck?

Usually, If the server didn’t connect, and I resend, I’ll apologize for the double post in that message, and so you get a pseudo-double post…of course sometimes, it didn’t post originally and it just looks silly. But I know what you mean.

I don’t know where these double posts are coming from. I don’t think I’ve ever double-posted on this board. (If anyone can find an example of a double-post by me, then I stand corrected, of course.)

If you double post, then drop the moderator a line, she/he/it will gladly fix it for you by deleting the extra post. If, on the other hand, you double post then post an apology, we have two posts to delete-the double and the apology.
