Among a handful of luminaries, Dr. Matrix is by far my favorite poster on this board–his knowledge of physics is unsurpassed. Now, sadly, he has been absorbed by the Borg collective known as “the Moderators.” Say it ain’t so!
To keep this in GQ, let me ask this fact-based question:
Dr. Matrix, what, um, facts motivated you to make the change? Can we still expect frequent participation?

I’m afraid it is so. You flatter me. Sucking to the new mod is good, but you should say something about *bibliophage, too. He’s pretty cool.
I heard they give the moderators a free coffee mug.

Yes, I hear that Moderators get a free coffee mug. You don’t get infallability until Administrator status. From what I hear the gifts get better after that, with omniscience granted at Cecil level.

Um. sucking to the new mod. Please, how does one “suck to” a mod? I’m quite accomplished in the fine art of ‘sucking up’, I’ve known quite a few things that ‘sucked’ in general, and, well, some other versions of sucking as well. But please, could we have an elaboration on the term ‘sucking to’ ? Thanks in advance for your anticipated cooperation.
