Dr. Pimple Popper

I was looking through the channel guide and spotted a show I never heard of.
For all you fans of blackheads, pimples and cycsts, I present Dr. Pimple Popper.
It’s on TLC at 7:00p and 10:00p (Pacific)

From her Youtube channel.

Gross.

Her Youtube stuff is great!

Obviously, you don’t know some of the SDMB’s history.

Heh, I didn’t say I was surprised or shocked. Just…gross.

Dr. Lee! Her Youtube channel is fantastic.

Uh, I really like the moist ones.

That lancet… gets 'em wet.

She’s a hoot! Love her You Tube channel.

We’ve been watching popping videos on Youtube since before it was cool.

Earwax extraction videos are also great.

My wife got me addicted. Once you start, you can’t stop.

It’s kind of weird how it became a thing only a couple weeks after I spent half a night watching random popping videos. I told my coworkers about it, they thought it was weird. Then a couple weeks later they showed me this doctor. They still thought it was weird - but I wasn’t uniquely weird anymore, just part of a larger weirdness that’s out there. The whole thing was a little like when I mentioned that Prince Albert doesn’t always refer to a historical royal figure. One of my coworkers thought that was weird also.

So satisfying.

I’ve seen her youtube channel before, from a link in a thread here as a matter of fact.
<rummages around the board archives searching>
Can’t find it now, I must have only read that thread and not posted in it, that or I simply missed it when searching the board archives generally.
or it could have been an extremely similar youtube channel, doing the same thing but with a different dermatologist which would explain why I couldn’t find it when searching.

Don’t forget https://www.popthatzits.com/. 'Nuff said.

I wish Coldfire was still around–he’d love moderating this thread.

I had an epidermoid cyst removed from my scalp in 2016, by the same doctor who removed yet another one on the morning of 9/11. :frowning: Anyway, I mentioned the whole You Tube thing and he honestly seemed surprised by that.

At least Dr. Lee uses medical instruments to do her job. Some of the DIY pops are mind-boggling WRT the assortment of tools used - nut picks, pocketknives, screwdrivers, box cutters, etc. and I have not to date seen one where they handled wound closure.

Or, for that matter, the raging infection that quite likely resulted.

More pus!!!

Search for “tonsil stones” on Youtube for more delicious grossness.

I clicked on the YouTube link in the OP and saw one video posted two days before already had over 700,000 views!

Holey poppin’ moley.

Outstanding. Thank you!

Duct tape. Does that count?

I will take a look.
