Dr Who Question

I got a new Dish receiver/DVR and lost the last 20 eps of Dr Who, which I hadn’t watched. Is there anywhere on-line I can watch Season 5 forward?

You can download or watch them streaming illegally. The SDMB frowns on discussing this sort of thing, so I won’t give details. But it exists.

You can also buy the episodes at iTunes. TV shows generally cost $2/apiece.

Did you check your library? My local library has the a great DVD collection.

Kyla - I don’t think they’re released on DVD yet. I don’t really want to do anything illegal, I just thought maybe they were on some site like Hulu or BBC America, but I couldn’t find them.

No, I don’t think that’s going to work. I just checked, and S5 is available on iTunes, but it’s surprisingly pricey; each episode is $2.99.

The BBC generally doesn’t allow their shows to be streamed online anywhere outside the UK.

The latest season with Matt Smith as the doctor is due out this fall I believe. Everything prior to that is already released on DVD (of the “new” Who)… some of the “classic” Who doesn’t exist anymore.

All of The New Who up to the most recent Matt Smith program is available on Netflix streaming.

BBC America (the channel) is, I believe, rerunning all the prior eps on a daily schedule. I don’t know if they’re covering the Matt Smith season in that, but if so, it shouldn’t take too long to catch up.
