I don’t know whose idea is was to add this useless option but they ought to be shot.

I also see the “quote shortcut” being abused, too.
Someone’ll make a cute post and everyone will be reposting it and then others will be reposting the repost. We’ll end up re-reading the same thing over and over, or we’ll have to continually scroll to avoid all the bullshit.

Yannow…the suggested icons ARE within our power. Two things have to be done first–the .GIFs must be created (easy), and Admin needs to hack the UBB script to insert the triggers which invoke the .GIFs (kinda easy)…
