Drawn Together 2/8

The “Live Action Forest” and “Fire Fairy”

is Toot’s voice different this ep?

AAAGHHH!!! DR. Bharni, get it AWAY!!

Heh, nice callback to those alien braincell blobs from Trek, and Foxxy’s feet and teeth from earlier eps

Heh, “Cotton Candy”

Xandir cheat codes with a PS2 controller…
AIEEE!, Live action squirrel, with big balls!!

The best part was that one of the codes was a real Konami code.
up up down down left right left right B A B A start.

And did you notice Bart and Lisa’s skeletons in between the floorboards of the attic? A good throwback to when The Simpsons did jokes like that.

that and the Super Xandir Kart cheatcode was amusing

the references are really flowing now, Springfield, Bedrock, the Jetsonsverse…

South Park

Spanky; “I bet if we lived here more people would watch…”

was i the only one that hoped when the Foxxy 5 van was on the off-ramp to the Future…

that they ended up in the Futuramaverse?

I missed the first few minutes or so, coming in when Wooldoor had sent Live Action Cow away - how did he find the cow in the first place?

It wasn’t shown, but the others said he had been playing in the live action forest.

and of course, all animals in the LAF are static images, no action whatsoever…

the animated characters are the only things that move

Quick Question: What is that film footage of the ape boy, looking over his shoulder?

“Everywhere I turned, something reminded me of Live action Cow”

[Toot comes on screen]

Lots of call backs. The Dig-Dug Reference, and some other Waldoor Scenes, when he reflected on his time with Live Action Cow.

---- I noticed that —

Homer was drunk and passed out in The Season 1 Episode: Requiem for a Reality show. (Where Foxxy and Captain Hero … get it on)

Is it sad that I thought that song during the montage was actually a pretty song?

As a matter of fact, I did notice that. (See post #3)

How many people have had someone e-mail them that picture of the squirell with the giant nuts?

Funny to see it show up an DT.

Overall, this episode was a miss for me, but as usual there were funny parts.

I was wondering that myself.

Another clip that seems to pop up in some shows is from Robot Monster. I haven’t seen it, but I want to. The ape-boy clip makes me want to see that as well.

I think that was Meeko quoting you, but not using the quote function.

I’m pretty sure it’s from 1925’s The Lost World

I’ll recheck my DVD again

Yes. I was using your Bart and Lisa comment to refer to the Homer reference in the earlier episode.
