I notice that today I have a special anniversary cake next to my user name. I joined the SDMB on this date back in 1999. That means my account is old enough to drink!

Perhaps an Old Fashioned.
Cheers
AH! I had a birthday cake by my name and I couldn’t figure it out. The first of this month was my 20th anniversary.
Thanks for clearing that up!
Absinthe.
Wouldn’t this be appropriate if Pleonast were a long time lurker?
Tripler
I slay me.
Happy Anniversary! I’ll have a beer.
I had that birthday cake icon shortly after the Great TubaDiva Migration and was baffled. So were a couple other posters. It wasn’t my birthday, not even close. I figured it out after I saw someone else with one and it had an explanation.
Water. Us 20+ers obviously have addiction issues.

I don’t do Aztec style (with chile), but I do drink straight cocoa dissolved into hot water for my morning pick-me-up. I can’t stand coffee.
Good on ya, Pleonast, and congratulations! Glad to have you here.

Just post your debit card number here, and we’ll take it from there.
This thread reminds me of that 70s TV show, The Waltons, and"the recipe" of the Baldwin sisters’ father, or something like that. With hundreds of channels now, there’s one that has those reruns.
Drink up!
This.

Bottled just for you! I’d be happy to share if you don’t want to drink alone.
I joined well over 20 years ago. Perhaps we could get together for Rusty Nails, Rumrunners or White Russians (all popular in the 1950s).
I lurked in99 and 00, finally joining in 01. The SDMB was my first message board. <Tips glass of 21-year-old scotch in Pleonasts direction>
