Does a site like drugereport exist for world news? His is pretty US-centric. I’m not looking for a list of news aggregators. Each one has it’s own personality because there are still selection processes performed on news links. I’m looking for some good suggestions of aggregators that have been tried by members here.
Most western countries have some source of rumor, bald-faced lies and overt propogana.

Now they have all those Newspapers links in the left column from around the world. I’d like a site that handpicks unbiasedly (the ‘most interesting’) articles from all those each day. Anyone??

I use bourque.org and he links to a whole bunch of sub-aggregators on specific topics like military and and mining, Bitcoin. It is Canadian so you will have some bias that way… Reedit has some decent ones as well.
You could also try BBC news as they tend to have coverage all over.
The BBC website is pretty good (mostly). There’s also The Weekfor UK news (no views on quality).
I also tend to read The Economist website, mostly because they seem to have forgotten to turn off my digital subscription when I stopped getting the paper version.

I’d like to find a site that acts as an aggregator for just the ‘Newspapers’ section at https://www.aldaily.com/ which has about 10 famous newspapers from around the world.
Since the OP is looking for personal recommendations, let’s move this to IMHO.
