“did recklessly create a risk of public annoyance and alarm by engaging in tumultuous behavior that may create a publically offensive condition.”
that is the whitest sentence I’ve seen lately.
“In vino, veritas,” and all that.

Three things about that link:
It’s being sponsored by AMAZON??? Weird.
Why is Youtube allowed to turn up the speaker volume on my tablet? That’s bullshit.
WHEN are people with vidcams in their phones gonna get on the fucking ball and STOP recording things in portrait orientation?
See, this is when abusive cops would come in handy. A hearty whack to the knee caps with a police baton would have made for some good schadenfreude.
It’s a shame that there might be consequences for moronic public assholery.
I kind of doubt anyone is living in a cardboard box because of something stupid they did that was memorialized in a YouTube video.
Is that supposed to be real? Look, I’m not the guy who shouts “fake” at everything, but it really has that viral-video-trying-too-hard-to-not-look-professional vibe to it.
Kid has been arrested three times in two years, and kicked out of two colleges for his actions. This isn’t a little dickishness, it’s Criminal Entitlement, and he clearly has learned exactly ZERO lessons from his previous run-ins with authority. I’m sure if we were able to look further back, we’d see a long history of this behavior.
This guy lived in jail for two years because of drunken assholery immortalized on YouTube. Video here (NSFW obviously; the sex assault part comes around 3:30). Not sure if he’s in a cardboard box now, but I’m guessing his job prospects are limited.
(To be clear, I have no argument with his sentence. It was sexual assault, even if intended as only a joke. The parallel to the Mac & Cheese guy is disregard for consequences, not the result.)
yeah. most of us receive a good solid smack in the face (either figurative or literal) at least once in our lives to give us a sense of perspective.
Sounds like young Mr. Gatti is way, way overdue for a good swift punch in the face.
I’m gonna go look for the thread on Reddit where a couple of his classmates* tell fun stories about how this clown behaved during orientation.
*Yes I know this is the internet. But enough people corroborated the story that I think the likelihood of being true is high.
People are harsh. Isn’t it obvious this kid is inflicted with crippling case of affluenza?
How about 2 of the dozens of male students standing around walk the guy outside. Especially after he shoved the manager.
And the kid becomes an aggressive asshole after drinking? I’m fine with his future prospects taking a dive.
Perhaps some Penal Housing-based Socialization Training is in order.
Sometimes you just need some mac and cheese
It’s like the douche bag version of Five Easy Pieces.
Supposedly, he was not expelled although the university spokesperson wouldn’t say anything more due to federal privacy laws.
And I’m kind of pleased that he’s from Long Island and not Connecticut.
I didn’t want to listen to the whole thing - why wouldn’t they give him the mac n cheese in the first place? Because he was drunk?
They were out of it.
So was he.
I mentioned it in the Weird experiences in restaurants thread a few days ago.
Just a heads-up, nearwildheaven will be here shortly to roll her eyes at how uninterested she is.
Well, he will be soon, or tah internets will take out its rage on UConn.
In a few weeks, everyone will be distracted by UConn basketball and forget about this drunk loser.
