Duct tape floats - spinning and weaving - turkey legs - a State Fair MMP

The buffalo chicken dip with too much chicken makes really yum sammiches! I think my coworkers will be pleased. If not, more for me!

Last load just came out of the dryer - once I fold, I’m done. Yay. Well, except for doing the dishes and packing lunch for tomorrow. But other than that…

I think next weekend will be a carpet-cleaning marathon. The whole house reeks of urine, which tells me I may have missed some pee spots. So we’ll start by emptying the family room since it has the strongest odor. Good times, good times… I am so ready for this to be a dog-free household.

I am NOT adopting any more dogs, FCM!

heh - that hadn’t even occurred to me. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh, and I think I narrowed the urine smell down to an afghan - it’s now down in the laundry room awaiting laundering. That’s a bit of a relief. But I still need to clean the carpets. The inlaws are coming next month and the carpets look kinda grubby.

Rebo, here’s hoping Dipsey’s ex-family just gives up. Here’s also hoping they don’t run out and get another pup…

Dindin is et. 'Twas good. New grill did up the poke chops real good. Plus there was peanut butter pie for dessert!

I’m considerin’ a soak in the tub whilst sippin’ upon a glass of wine.

Once again, I must say thank you to MOOOOOOM for the reminder why I don’t need to get a doggy.

I may have ingested a wee bit too much caffeine this morning. The combination of that and all the singing we did in the final session (of the “music school weekend” I may have neglected to mention I attended) wound me up so tight, not only did I not get sleepy driving home, but I couldn’t nap when I got here. I lay down, the cat purred and nuzzled, and two hours later, I’m still awake. Feh. Good thing I have tomorrow off.

p.s. forgive me for not even attempting to catch up. You still wuv me, right?

Well, if you can’t be bothered to stay current on the minutiae of our lives, why should we care about yours… :stuck_out_tongue:

In other words, of course we still love you rosie.

Have been to various stores (needed to get TP as there was an appallingly low number of rolls in the house). Also needed fruits and veggies and such for lunches this week. (Although I’m off Thursday and Friday, when my niece will be here.)

Bought local corn (I missed the farmers market this week) and have already zapped the first ear - it was yum. Now I think I’m just going to have some cereal.

Ought to do some laundry, but I think I’m just going to sit around and read so that I finish the book club book before we meet.

There was other stuff I was going to say, but…I forgot.

Hugs.

GT

Hey, I stocked up on TP today, too! My brand just happened to be on sale when we stopped to get stuff for supper, so we added 2 12-packs to our purchase.

Laundry is done and folded and the baskets are in the bedroom to be unloaded. Later. I need to call my mom. Maybe I’ll knit, too. The dishwasher is running and the big pots are scrubbed and staged on the stove to dry. I think I’m done with chores. At least, I hope I am. I’s tahred!

gt and MOOOOOOM it’s good to know y’all understand the important things in life such as stockin’ up on tp.

A tub soak whilst sippin’ upon a glass of wine was just what I needed. AHHHHHH…

Gonna mess around a little bit on the intratoobz and then lie upon the bed and watch some teevee until I drift off to sleepyland.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

I’m signing off for now. See ya in the next MMP - do we have a starter??

y’know what? I’ll do it. I’ll tell ya all ‘bout 200 wiminfolk singin’ their everlovin’ hearts out.

Damned dryer crapped out, and roasted the clothes inside. I’m full of grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

here t’is.
