Today I learned a new game to pass the time in meetings.

Take the name of a popular novel and “Dude” it. As in:

“Lolita” = Dude, where’s my jailbait?

“Lord of the Rings” = Dude, where’s my ring?

“A Room With A View” = Dude, where’s my window.

You get the idea.

While in NYC last spring I attended a taping of The Late Show with David Letterman for which Aston Kutcher was the guest. The “-Car?” movie came up and Dave enjoyed adapting the title to fit their conversation. Especially funny was a well-placed “Dude, where’s my sister?”
