Dumb commercial jingle

There was a Nescafe commercial here in Canada some years ago. The song they played in the background struck me as rather catchy, so much so I doubted it was created just dor the commercial. Can anyone place these words?

I’ve been living for today
And now it’s time to go away
I’m out of here
Hit the load and travel light
See the world; do it right
And I’m out of here.
All these years of travelling down
These hallowed halls
There must be life
Outside these walls
And I know I’ll never ever
I’ll never see this place again
(or something like that)

Hey, on a similar note, I can’t get the jingle from the current Hershey’s Chocolate commercial out of my head. I thought it was a jingle, but I heard a longer bit of it playing on another program so I know there’s a full song out there.

“Put a smile on your face
and make this world a better place
Whatcha gonna do now, whatcha gonna do?”

I mean, it’s so sappy, but with a heavy electric guitar behind it, it’s so silly I love it. Who sang it? What’s the name of the song?

Chas.E…the song you’re asking about is by Vitamin C. it’s called either “Smile” or “Put a smile on your face”. yeah, it’s a good one.

unfortunately, Dr_Paprika, i’m not sure about your inquiry…better luck to you.
