DVD format question - Audio TS?

What does the Audio TS folder do? Why is it there? I’ve done a lot of DVD authoring, but I’ve never has occasion to use it.

It is used only for DVD-audio disks. DVD-video disks (the kind most people are familiar with), only use the VIDEO_TS folder. Some disks have both, so that if you put it in a video DVD player it will play the VIDEO_TS content, and if you put it in an audio DVD player it will play the AUDIO_TS content.
