60 dollars a year gets you into the Eagles fanclub and gets you the rights to purchase the best seats before the rest of the public does.
No price break, just the opportunity to buy the damn tickets before anyone else.
What am I missing here? :dubious:
Quasi
I remember when Joe Walsh and Glen Frye played at a rib fest in Raleigh, the cost was $5 to see 'em.
The next year, the Eagles toured for $100 a seat.
A friend of mine worked at the venue. He said they weren’t allowed to set up the stage when the Eagles came on. All they got to do was stay out of the way as the Eagles’ roadies set it up. They were forbidden to speak to the Eagles or even to make eye contact with them.
Where else can you show your support for the Eagles and Yahoo Serious simultaneously?
Don’t laugh too hard. I love the Eagles and was suckered into paying the $60 for advanced ticket sales. I logged on and Ticketmaster’s server was down for routine maintenance. Had to work the next day and by the time I got on the best seats they had were mid-oval (with the stage set at one end).
Now that you bring this up, I’m going to write them and complain. I didn’t buy tix this way but rather went the old tried and true e-bay route.
I love e-bay.
