Early KNDD Endfest Lineups?

So I’ve been trying to compile a list of all the bands I’ve seen over the decades…I’ve been trying to find the lineups (main and second stages) of the (Pac NW) KNDD Endfests 1 thru 4 ('94 thru '97?). Google has more recent lineups, but I’ve dug and can’t find a thing from the early days that archive these.

Anyone know or remember (ties flannel around waist in anticipation)?

Jeez, this was a long time ago, but weren’t the Beastie Boys at the first or second one?

After a little fact checking, the first Endfest was in 1992 and did include the Beasties. Also Sarah McLachlan (Wha?), Mudhoney, and Sonic Youth.

Number two in 1993 featured: Social Distortion, X, They Might Be Giants and Helmet.

Number three, you ask? House of Pain, Violent Femmes, Sunny Day Real Estate and Afghan Wigs.

The best year ever? 1997…Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Offspring, Brad, The Crystal Method.

Speaking as someone who lives about 4 blocks from the original venue, may I just say that I’m glad it moved on to somewhere else…

Yes, and No Doubt was at one of them (don’t recall which). It was surreal, the whole crowd was normal, then when the opening riff to Just A Girl started the whole crowd morphed into wild screaming 15yo girls grinning and moshing. I feared for my life, frantically looking about for a fellow male as a psychic lifeline to normalcy, but none at all were to be seen. Then, on the last note of the song, all of the girls melted into the crowd like ninjas and it was back to a normal (but very befuddled) audience again.

Charliatans UK also played the first endfest along with L7. I had a t-shirt from the first Endfest but for the life of me can’t find it. There was a professional film crew there there that day but I have been unable to locate any footage online. (I was told I made the 11:00 news)

You can add Hammerbox to the lineup of 2nd Endfest. Also, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult actually headlined 2nd Endfest but only a few of us even knew who they were. Great show! I snuck backstage and loaded my packpack with beer and got to meet Mike Ness.
