But why? I didn’t meet him until he showed up at my house to drive me to last winter’s Michigan Dopefest. And he drove all the way from his house to Flint, then down to Ann Arbor, then back to Flint, then back to his house. In a blinding snowstorm.

PRIOR to the ChickDope shopping extravaganza this weekend, we’re meeting in Ann Arbor for dinner Friday night. I think we’re going to go to some Ethiopian place, just to be funky and different. I promise to smuggle in some brownies in case its too weird to fill up on. Anyway, Uncle Beer I’m thinking of you in particular, it’s less than one hour’s drive… wanna join us? Other people in/near SE Michigan? We’re meeting at my place on Friday night, around 7 pm. Far as I know for sure it’s Bunny, Geobabe, Manhattan, and HelloAgain but there might in fact be others–just haven’t gotten the tally yet.

I would drive to Traverse City to eat at Tapawingo. Its a little pricey for the college crowd but IMHO cheap for the quality.
