I think it’s still moving.
I saw my monitor jiggling. Trying to read this right now:
Really? A real earthquake?
I remember a few years ago there was a small earthquake in Ohio, and my parents thought the house was falling down. Luckily, it was a small one, and there was no damage.
4.6 northeast of Yorba Linda, CA, about 12:08 AM, Pacific time.
47 quakes in a week? Holy moly.
Though I supppose the small ones are only noticable very locally. I’ve experienced one earthquake in my life, it was the 1992 Roemond one.
Registering 5.5 on the scale, it woke me up at the time [sub]because a beer bottle fell off my cupboard, and on to my head[/sub] - I’m sure I would have slept through it otherwise.
I lived about 40 kilometers away from the epicentre.
That quake log is quite fascinating. I’ve been in LA a few times now, usually for one week periods. I have yet to experience my first tremble there.
A piddly little 4.6 quake. Ha! We laugh at those!
Never said I was upset, spooje. Reason I was in such a hurry to post is, Johnny LA always seems to beat me to the punch. This time he didn’t, for what appears to be the simple reason that he wasn’t online, and probably not even at home.
I, of course, used the collective ‘we’. As in ‘all us Los Angelinos’!
4.6? Count us Taiwanese in, spooje.
I slept through it.
Horray for England and our tectonic positioning.

So did Mr. Rilch!
Mind, it wasn’t that easy to sleep. It was so freaking hot here that falling asleep was difficult.
Sigh. I miss earthquakes. Haven’t felt one since I was 8. Of course where I lived was mostly forest so there was no real damage even with the big ones. Someday.
I keep thinking that says “tectonic poisoning”…
I was talking to a 'net friend from L.A. at the time of the earthquake last night. I didn’t believe him at first, but I guess he wasn’t lying…

Rilchiam You can never tell with my spelling, I’m sure that someone goes through my posts and rearranges it to sense it not make stop.

JustPlainBryan and I were two others that slept right through it. My bed has to start shaking across the room for me to wake up.
They are fun, aren’t they? It’s gotten to the point where I can feel the difference between a small one right under me and a big one centered further away.
The Mrs. and I felt the earth move last night also.
